'm gonna be honest, as much as i love both of those songs, they dont really fit that well together. And Emiya wasn’t loud enough
Sure! While I don’t consider this one to be very Artcore, the game it is from (beatmania IIDX) labels it as “ARTCORE” so you might like it:
Oh my that is just beautiful. My favorite one from An so far
It maybe isnt really an Artcore, BUT OMFG I JUST HAD AN EARGASM!
ily pepe <3 thanks
So one of the weird music marvels I’ve found in my journey is an album made by one dude who plays nothing but Bass. Every noise on the album is a Bass. It’s pretty awesome.
Yeah werid but awesome at the same time.
Seriously this guy is a genius in some ways. To think of all the stuff only on a bass is pretty hard and then synchronize it must be really diffucult too.
The time he puts in his tracks must be really a lot, and I thikn we can hear that in his tracks.
Poeple who doesnt apperciate things like that, should stop for a moment and really think of, how much work he puts in it.
Anyways I like the idea of his, but couldnt listen to it all day long.
So I had this emotional state again, and I was listening to some really good, atmosperic, emotional music.
I was thinking about sharing it since its one of the best tracks I know (in this specific genre).
Hey @pepe I totally forgot I knew a guy that made a really good J-core. He is called ETIA and is similiar to that “An” guy.
I dont know why but i have a feeling that you will love this. It is a clear J-Core that contains good vocals and melodic stuff in it.
Let me know what you think.

You know what’s cool? Someone who makes good music- Then also can nail it live.
wut he must be a really creative person :o. Thats a nice song tho :3
Santos is wonderful. He was probably semi-popularized by his work with Lupe Fiasco (love Lupe Fiasco), but he’s an excellent singer and an overall great musician. Very underrated. Very talented. One of the great folk singers imo. My favorite is Dallas Green (Alexisonfire/City and Colour), but I also love Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees/Mad Season/Queens of the Stone Age) and Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon).
I enjoy the relaxing and smooth music of the doujin group DDBY. They started off doing a number of Touhou arrangements like the Cafe de Touhou series, but I found their original stuff is wonderful as well.
Wow that was really good! He reminds me a little of Paul Simon for some reason:
Sorry for the late reply with this. Ooh yeah I like it! First time I’ve heard ETIA. Seems like a pretty Happy Hardcore style track, but with very calm vocals. I like how he made the smooth vocals go well with an otherwise intense track. Actually reminds me a bit more of UK Hardcore
Its always nice to listen to this kind of music once in a while, its nice and smooth as you said.
Really cools me down :3. Thumbs up!
I don’t really have a favorite genre of music per se, but my favorite composer is Motoi Sakuraba. I grew up listening to his video game compositions, and I still very much enjoy his music. One of my favorite soundtracks by him is Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. There are quite a few memorable songs in that soundtrack, but the songs that really stand out to me are The Divine Spirit of Language (link below), Requiem of a Saint, and Reflected Moon.
I also enjoy the compositions of, to name a few examples, Yasunori Mitsuda, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Joe Hisaishi, Vince Guaraldi, and, of course, Jun Maeda and Shinji Orito. :3
I havent played Star ocean, but the guitar is freakin sexy man. I should check more of the OSTs.
By the way, has anybody heard the soundtrack to The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya? It’s not particularly spectacular, but it’s where I first heard about Erik Satie’s work. My favorite of his compositions on the soundtrack is the second Gymnopedie, found below.
Wow I didnt even know there is a second version if gymnopedie! I knew about Erik Statie because of my “history of music” subject. And we listened to a lot of classical songs. But somehow I completely missed that Gymnopedie 2 is in Haruhi as an OST? Wow how could I miss it. Anyways thats a really good catch and thanks for showing me the second version. I still like the frist one more (sorry xd)
The gymnopedies seem to be pretty popular in Japanese media. I’ve seen them sprouting here and there. In music games, visual novels, video games, and, as I found out from @EisenKoubu, in anime as well
