I drafted up some of the mastery pages I think will be most fun:
Fiora
Based around her E damage - The slow on the first auto grants 2.5% increased damage from Oppressor. The second auto heals you for 15% of the damage dealt, and gives you 20% attack speed for 4 seconds. That’s not even including the attack speed increase from the E! If you were to Q onto a vital then Auto>E>Auto>Hydra>Auto and then spam autos, you’d destroy people. Plus the 5% increased damage to enemies below 40% health.
With all the buffs via items that I mentioned earlier, I think she’s still very scary.
But I think there’s someone who’ll be even scarier, even though he’s been nerfed.
Darius
The Cunning tree is ridiculous for certain types of champions, and Darius is (unfortunately) one that benefits a lot from it. The 5% increased damage to enemies below 40% and Dangerous Game are of course must-haves on him.
Stormraider’s Surge is the big one. You get a big speed boost for dealing 30% of a champ’s max health in 2 seconds. What does that mean for Darius? Well, every time you ult, you get 35% movespeed, so you can go and ult some more, or just Q a bunch of people.
Sorcery gives his Q, E and Ult 2% increased damage, Vampirism gives him crazy sustain, Oppressor gives 2.5% increased damage to anyone with impaired movement (great with his Apprehend.)
He won’t be fun to lane against anymore.
Heimerdinger
I love Heim. People underestimate him a lot. Top, Mid, Bot. He just works.
This mastery set is based on my playstyle of pushing… Just pushing. That’s all I do as Heim. If I die, I just tp back and push again. Now with these new masteries, the playstyle is even more infuriating to play against! :D
In the amazing Cunning tree we have: Lots of potions, Dangerous Game, 45% cdr for more turret spamming, and a big speed boost whenever someone walks into your turrets.
In Resolve: 2 health regen per 5, 2 less damage from basic attacks, 8% bonus to all shields and healing (including regen), and +50% health regen that becomes +200% when below 20% health.
Basically… You just don’t die, and you never have to leave lane. Now that we get 2 trinket charges all that warding money can be saved, and you’ll always have a safe push.
Ezreal, Corki, the poke guys.
The 45% cdr and aoe magic damage in the Cunning tree is just too much to pass up on cdr-scaling champs like Ezreal. You can swap Merciless for Meditation for infinite mana if you would rather have that.
10 AD and 15 AP at level 18 is a nice pick up from the Ferocity tree, and the plus 2% damage is great.
It’s the same old poke, but with a bit of aoe burst every once in a while, and some more cdr.
Teemo
His Shrooms do more damage now, and Teemo gets sustain from them.There’s a 50% AD scaling and 20% AP scaling aoe magic damage dot on all of his abilities now thanks to Deathfire Touch, so even if he goes AD for some crazy reason, his Shrooms will still hurt! 2.5% increased damage to enemies with impaired movement also buffs up those mushrooms.
Our lord and savior may have been nerfed, but these changes bring him back up a bit.
