I’ve played both parts of Tales of Symphonia (loved both)
[/quote] Tales of Symphonia is my favorite game of all time, actually.

Ive been enjoying playing Fallout modded up the wazzu. Also I came across a game I had never heard of before its called UNepic and man it was one heck of a sleeper. I saw it and when I got it I thought it was going to be “ok” but it really surprised with how much fun I was having with it.

I am looking forward to all the stuff that seems like will come out in 2015

Great things are in store…yes great things Indeed.

I had this same thing when I played Bastion, and now I am playing Child of Light and again the same thing. Its just suprisingly fun and deep n all this stuff.

Its always a great feeling when something tops your expectations.

One day I will get that feeling… One day wipes tear from eye.

Wasn’t Bastion incredibly popular though? I remember it coming out on Xbox and everyone I knew went insane over the gruff manly voice of the narrator.

I myself had thought at first that Bastion was over hyped but then I played it and I got one of those moments “oh they were right”

Bastion was far from overrated and if nothing else will Bastion will convince you that popular =/= overrated in every case. Everything about the game was so smooth and just worked really well. The story and gameplay were interesting enough to keep you around with options to invoke handicaps on yourself for the chance at higher rewards should you feel the going gets too easy (example off the top of my head one of them would randomly turn the enemies invincible for a few seconds).

Bastion’s real bread and butter comes from the storytelling though. The narrator’s voice is just the cherry on top. Using the narrator to slowly reveal the story by narration of the main characters actions is ingenious and works very well to enthrall you in the story even more. You aren’t waiting for that next cutscene to spoon feed you the story instead it comes to you as you play the game. The first moment it really hit me was when I went on a box breaking spree seeking items and the narrator who had been silent for a while all of a sudden chimed in with “The kid just rages for a while about everything that has happened”. It was awesome and really set the tone for what was to come.

I lump Bastion in with Limbo in the realm of coolness.

That is why bastion is unique in its own way. Plus the narration is just epic, and really gets you into the game. Also Bastion has one of the best soundtracks imo.

…and not even 24 hours after I post this, I beat him. Figures. That feeling of accomplishment though~

Mine windbag, mine and build that wall is my favs :p.

Anyways there is a game from the same studio called Transistor, and Im really looking forward to playing it! I read some reviews saying the narration is absolutely amazing and that they even improved with the OSTs… the only question is, can they REALLY get better? Well I’ll see when I buy it :3.

I like the Transistor OST. I’d go and try the game, but it doesn’t run very well on my computer, and I don’t really like the gameplay… Music’s good though~

Don’t expect it to play like Bastion…cause it’s way different but not really in a bad way. You get the option to customize your fighting style which is really cool. I don’t know if I would say its a step up from Bastion just cause I thought so much of Bastion but its not a step down by any means very much worth playing.

Currently playing Brave Frontier (freemium game on Android).
My favorite game series are Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and Saint Rows.
The game I’m currently looking forward to is… none really. I wish I had a PS4…

Havent played any of them, but the 4th one looks so funny. I mean the humor and everything, the graphichs are not bad. Idk about the plot tho, might read some reviews.

The plot? The boss become the president of US and alien invaded the white house then inserted the president’s brain inside a f-king huge simulator.

Pretty crazy, really.

Well, I didn’t play it anymore.

Hey, did anyone have any MMOs you can recommend me (MMORPG if possible)?

Ooh, a harvest moon fan! Don’t see them every day. I’m getting pretty excited for the upcoming Story of Seasons on 3DS, though I have no idea if it will receive a PAL release…

I should really give Saints Row a try someday.
