That’d be a good idea. Not sure how much activity it’d get, but it’d be a good way to bring in new members if we get the thread high up enough on google.

Wassup boyz, im rather curious, is anyone considering to buy the new witcher 3 when it comes out? Also if someone played the previous 2 ones, I would like to know if they are really worth playing :). Yesh~ Doing pretty alright with her. Feels good taking out a whole life bar from round start.

Can’t wait to get home and finally really learn how to play her.
Just wondering but do you netplay?

Yo I was wondering how many of us have played Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And what your opinions on that are.
Im really curious about this one, because its a masterpiece imo. And if someone doesnt know it, you may just look at the trailer or something, because its definitely worth playing. Also it is known for its awesome soundtracks and atmosphere.

I played it at least 3 times. it’s pretty cool.

I had a couple friends recommend it to me, but it never really sounded that great. then one day I was hanging out with 2 of my friends and one decided to bring it over to show it to us(he hadn’t played it yet either). during the whole opening sequence they were both like “oh great, another futuristic shooter with an unusual combat system. I’d rather play Mass Effect” and I was just sitting there like “holy fuck guys, this opening sequence is amazing, just look at how well set up the story is! its got a really interesting setting too!” Unfortunately they stopped playing after the prologue, but I sure as hell bought the game for $5 and played the crap out of it when it went on sale last winter sale. I’d really like to play it again one of these days, but I kind of have more pressing matters at the moment.(namely the 5 VNs I should really be reading right now and the ever distracting Dragon Age: Inquisition keeping me from reading those VNs)

Nice, I dont like people like those people that are judging only by the looks. And you did a really good thing to not be like them and play it.
Did you do all the side quests as well?
Also, how did you like the OST? Did it fit the atmosphere? There is a lot to talk about, but Im glad some of us played it and actually enjoyed it.
Imo that game is just one of 10/10 games that is really well built in every kind of way (music, story, open areas, dynamic etc.).
A lof of people dislikes it because its not a proper shooter, its more focusing on stealth combat (really my friends gave up on that because it was “too hard” to play like that lol)

I’ve been meaning to play it for a while. My housemates are always getting on my case about how much I’d enjoy it. I guess I might start soon :stuck_out_tongue:

If you like dynamic games, and breathtaking plot you may just go and play it aspi. Im sure anyone who has that kind of sense for games will love Deus EX:HR.
If you do play it someday, please tell us your opinions and impressions :).

I’m not really into these types of games, but when it came out on ps+ I tried it out and it was amazing. So take it from someone who knows nothing about Deus ex, it’s really good.

Finally started playing through Eternal Sonata after picking it up for 4 bucks alongside Tales of Vesperia. I played a bit of Vesp. and pretty much was like ehhhhhhhh and have been making love to ES. Looooving this game.

Also been playing Halo 5 Beta which is hawt and just beat Sunset Overdrive, which I think is an easy exclusive of the year and best new IP for me from 2014. That’s not that hard to do- But man I enjoyed the hell out of that game.

eternal sonata is really cool. the combat system with the light and dark is really interesting.

I only play old games and humble bundle games cause I rather have 5 old game than a half a new game. I recently finished arcanum of steamworks and magick obscura (2001) I did buy smash4 for the 3ds thats a whole lot of fun, been playing Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance (2007) with one of my friends too. I play a whole lot of things but those are the ones that come to mind. It’s super rare for me to pay over like $5-$10 for a game unless it is nintendo or key.

I recently finished playing Mana-Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis, which I have got to say is the best turn-based RPG I have played since Final Fantasy IX. I’m not playing anything right now since my school schedule is rather tight, but I do play Melty Blood: Act Cadenza with my brother occasionally.

As of now, my favorite games are the Tales series, the Sakura Wars, and Star Ocean. I am very much looking forward to Tales of Zestiria, even though I won’t be buying it for quite a while.

Aside from 1st Beat!, I’m very much looking forward to Xenoblade X and Shining Resonance (if it ever gets localized here) this year.

The Tales series. Now that brings me back. I’ve played both parts of Tales of Symphonia (loved both), Tales of Eternia and the first Tales of the World. I also watched the Tales of the Abyss anime.

A very enjoyable game series indeed.
