Nao confirmed Fujimaki.
Damn it Key couldnât you have waited a bit more with that kind of awesome info, being hyped for months is tiring!
Didnât think of it earlier but her sister mode kind of resembles the early kud design though a bit more fierce.
Wuuhuuuuuuu! Iâm onboard on the yusa hypetrain!
Everyones furiously hyped and Iâm just sitting here thinking âman that doesnât sound very interestingâ.
Iâm all about X-Men- Iâm hyped as shit.
I missed Hamatora, so itâs nice to see it back.
Holy crap this probably the last thing I was expecting. So I guess Maeda got bored of normal? Seems kinda ironic that he said this was gonna be a âusual Keyâ kind of story.
So I guess this means theyâre all aliens sort of. And @Pepe, this explains why she doesnât show up in the camera in the original image. Oh wait you already said that.
So Iâm thinking, âOK, hereâs where they promised laughs are gonna come from. Now whatâs gonna cause those tearsâŚâ
Well, Key can surprise us. We can still have hopes. Something I noticed: In earlier Key works the supernatural was only introduced later. But then, in Angel Beats it was explicit from the beginning. And now, this one.
Well, part of Maedaâs original departure from Key was that a âKey storyâ became overdone and limiting to the kinds of stories he wanted to do. Angel Beats! broke that mold, so perhaps heâs more comfortable being able to do both now.
But I thought Angel Beats! was created by Jun MaedaâŚ
It was. He broke the mold, thatâs the thing. He found that he can still create a âKey storyâ alongside venturing into more fun things.
I think he started breaking the mold with Little Busters!, because CLANNAD, AIR and Kanon are like a family. They share a lot of things, including the seasonal theme: CLANNAD is spring, AIR is summer and Kanon is winter. But Little Busters! is very different comparing to these three.
But anyway, is there any chance of Charlotte being released on spring?
We have a fun theory from @Pepe that I like. The Key Calender from Comiket has the Nao illustration for the months June and July. Weâre expecting it around then.
This is very true. I mean, Maeda even jokes about getting his idea for Angel Beats! from the Little Busters! characters. Theyâre very much in the same vein.
lol nah
There is what, Tomoyoâs fixation of the cherry blossom trees and thatâs about the only springy thing to it.
The most important part of the game is a multi year adventure with no seasonal emphasis at all.
Not to say Clannad doesnât have resemblance to Air and Kanon, it does, but there is no overreaching spring theme.
âKey is also known for its seasonal imagery in its more famous works. Kanon makes full use of Snow Means Love and may have defined the modern Sad Girl In Snow; AIR does the same for summer, and CLANNAD for spring, though the snow plays a darker role.â
This is what Key Visual Artâs page in Tv Tropes says.
I believe we should have a thread for these unused rough designs and plans! I really like those Kudâs early designs.
The TV Tropes Community and thus itâs writers are, frankly, utterly idiotic.
The can and will, with alarming frequency, pull out stupid comparisons and straight up bullshit like that out of nowhere. Iâve even seen them go as far as to say itâs definitively canon that the three take place in the same universe and that it is known as the Seasonverse, something I know for a fact is 100% raw bullshit, there is references, even a silly little crossover Manga, but 0 raw confirmation from the sources or Key.
Source: I was pretty into the site for a while back when I too was stupid.
Well, so what site do you recommend for writing tips? Tv Tropes is really helpful to me in this aspect. And as far as I know this âseasonverseâ thing is from the WMG page, isnât it? This page is just about theories about a work/media.
It ainât there anymore because I took that down because of how furiously incorrect it is.
I mean if youâre reading it to learn writing tropes in generall I guess itâs ok for that, but one really shouldnât absorb anything on series pages or most examples, idiots have free reign on those.
