Introducing a new community-wide event, designed to strengthen our bonds and bring us closer as a community while having a lot of fun.
The basic idea is a series of activities designed to build bonds in the community. Each member will first be assigned a partner, and those pairs will participate in activities together, designed to help them get to know each other. For example, there will be a forum thread where the pair needs to answer questions about their partner and answers to questions they came up with together.
Later, two or three pairs will combine into larger teams to take on more activities, like trivia and other fun games or collaborative projects, racking up points to compete with other teams.
And then those teams will come together to form bigger groups, and we can wrap the events up with some sharing circles on Discord.
I don’t plan on commencing this until after the Little Busters Bookclub is over, but I wanna try and drum up some interest and begin preparing. There’s still some details to work out, and this will be a bit of work to organise, so if there’s anyone interested in volunteering their ideas and time to help organise the festival, please let me know, I’d appreciate any help I can get!
