I really hope this is true. Hopefully they will put it up for sale online for digital download or a website for a hard copy.

great news;

hopefully it’s the start of a simul-translated (Key) VN age

Our mission has just begun with news like this. English speaking fans have been acknowledged and a new age shall be ushered in.

Hopefully.

It’s most likely true, both Japanese and Chinese fans who were at cp reported the same thing.

@Zak89 If I’m getting this right, they seem to be in agreenace that an English version was announced, but was there any word on when it would be released (at the same time as JP release?)

If this ends up being true, this will be the first time such a thing has happened for a Key title. I don’t know much about Harmonia, but I’m optimistic about this rumor. Here’s hoping it’s true. :slight_smile:

yep, I can see this happening, especially with steam being a worldwide plattform for them to release on.

Its like a dream come true. Im so happy that official English translations are coming to Key games.

I’m not sure about simultaneous release. Even games with less writing than visual novels require time to be translated and localized, but I would be happy just for them to get someone working on an English translation before the release. I guess Sekai Project would probably handle the translation?

If it’s only for download I’ll just import it, I typically don’t mind downloading games but visual novels are an exception.

For me I don’t like getting digital versions of games but when it comes to import only I just download them since it more expensive and time consuming for me to get hard copies of untranslated games.

I look at it from more of a collectors perspective but yeah it is a bit of a hassle, well either way I hope the game is enjoyable!

I’m also a collector so i will always perfer hard copies but untranslated games are hard for me to get but for games like these i don’t mind getting digital copies aslong as I am able to play it, and if it is avaliable and close to me ill get the hard copy.

Wow. Just, wow.

I can’t help but remember what it was like until a little over a year ago, when it seemed almost guaranteed that we would never get officially translated Key VNs. Now here we are, with Planetarian on Steam, Clannad well on its way to release, and now, maybe, a simultaneous release of their newest game. It amazes me how far we’ve come in such a short span of time.

Soo uhhh, I had no clue that Key was making a new visual novel until I read the post… :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, it’s pretty cool that Key is taking more interest to the English speaking fans and that they are translating it on their own. Finger crossed that this rumour is true!

Waaaaaay too rumor 5 me
