Minor question… (With two paragraphs of lead-in.)
I’m as much of a critic of the Rewrite anime as the next guy, especially being such a diehard fan of the VN. They did so much wrong with it that I don’t even have the patience to list of the reasons. But I do have the patience to list the two things I think it did right. Of course, they’re both in the second season. One is of course their choice to include some of the arrange album tracks, which were all amazing and including them was a great decision.
The second one is a bit longer of a story.
There’s not much I personally fault Rewrite for. I realise that a lot of what it does is very hit-and-miss, so I can understand people not liking it so much - or even at all - but it was all hits in my case. Pretty much the only thing that jumped out at me in the VN that I wished they had done differently was Jasmine. I really wish they had developed her character more. And, surprisingly/amazingly, that’s exactly what the anime did, and I really appreciated it.
So, to get to my question, were the changes in the scenario to include more development of Jasmine’s character part of the minor scenario changes introduced in Rewrite+, or was it an anime-exclusive change?
