You lost me. What do you mean “would then decide?” Making the PV came after starting the episode. Also, they’re obviously not making it as close to the VN as possible; this was disclosed months ago.
I guess I was getting ahead of myself. I was meaning that they decided to take the time to develop the animation as close as possible to the VN, despite inconsistencies. I should have chosen my words carefully. Unfortunately, the studio is really doing the opposite and I’m sorry if I said things that might have seem obvious.
I can’t even discern what you trying to argue for. Please formulate what you’re trying to prove as a declarative sentence.
The inconsistencies I was mentioning was how the animation may have suffered due to details concerning the PV that was presented from what we might have expected from the before it was about to be aired.
Depending on the way the anime is presented, it could fall between two categories. The first would be that our expectations could be so high that the series does so well and sales probably would downgrade and the product could fail as a result for those waiting to see the anime. The second would be if the anime does poorly but the product might be well received and the sales would exponentially increase as anime fans could decide if they want to buy it or not. I hope this might answer your concerns and if not I will apologize for my actions.
Neither of those two categories sound good. But if we’re on the topic of the PVs presenting a fair depiction of the anime, I’d say so. The PVs are far from amazing in terms of presenting story details, animations and especially editing. If people got too high expectations from that, they might not have been paying attention. I think it also goes without saying that the animation presented in a PV is not going to representative of the average quality of a series. It may be representative of the animation at it’s peak, and the fight from Ep 1 was pretty damn well made.
I do agree that the PVs represent how the anime would be presented in those terms as you stated above. I just thought that the overall series would depend on how well received the animation quality and the story would fit in terms of the direction it would take in sales as well as reaction from VN readers and anime viewers. I understand now where you’re coming from and I might have misunderstood you from the beginning and I’ll try next time to provide some examples to back up my earlier statements.
