So a friend of mine just posted about the Angel Beats’ official website: http://www.angelbeats.jp/ and it looks like they have started an Operation Countdown! As of posting, there are 22 hours and 35 minutes left in the countdown. From calculations it seems that they are going to reveal something on 2014/12/09 20:00:00, Japan time. The timer uses system time so it’s gonna be a bit inconsistent

Looks like the timer might be based on system time rather than a specific timezone which is odd. The timer is set to 2014/12/09 20:00:00 and that’s 6 hours and 50 minutes away for me, which is what the timer says. So let’s just go with what Pepe says since he’s the one living in Japan.

Tried modifying my system time and the timer just went to 0 and stopped. So I guess we just have to wait for tomorrow

My bet is they’re going to announce an Heaven’s Door adaptation. Considering the hype over the VN, it’s probably the best time to release another project for the franchise.

A Heaven’s Door anime would be amazing, however that series is still incomplete so… At the very least an OVA series could begin and just go bit by bit at an abnormal pace leading up to releases. We shall see…

I dont know anything about Heavens Door, but considering what Mary_Vanucchi said, I can see it being an anime adaption releasing in Summer of Fall 2015.

BUT anyways at this point, I really don’t care what we get anymore. Unless of course it’s an ABOW announcement, then I might pull all my hair out. But an new anime would be brilliant, a VN update, well, somehow I’m actually doubting its a VN update, with both being on the anime site, and there already being a preview of an announcement. But like I said, no matter what, hype.
