League of Legends General Topic

well, I dont want to brag, but sometimes you dont need an ADC. (Yes, I did intend to play support Diana)

Dat Jungle Ez carrying hard.

Sorry to say this, but I got a really big headache when I saw you have more loses than wins in normals >_<. Happens I guess.
I shouldnt be the one saying it since im 3/5 in placements lelelelele

I had that last week. I was forcing myself to play a bunch of champs, and it just wasn’t working out. I’m at the point where you randomly get matched with people who’ve had ~100 more games played than you too, so not great ><
Just gonna stick to 2 or 3 for now… I can always fall back on Ori ;~;

Yo man ori is my next champion on the ā€œimproveā€ list. Altough Im pretty confident, I still feel like i need some practice for the max outplays mechanics :p. Right now I bought graves and from only 3 games I could say I can main the guy already. Its pretty easy, so ori is coming soon :p.

nah, he was just taking the kills me and Zed served him.

Also about the more lose thing. I like to play unconventional things and sometimes they dont work out, which is ok. It’s just normals, so it’s no big deal. I just play to have fun

I hate playing against Graves T_T

Some Ori tips that can be easy to forget.
Use your ball to scout brushes.
If you are in an empty lane, always have your ball on you. It makes the distance for it to move shorter, and it allows you to keep moving while casting Q. Your E gives you bonus armor and mr as long as the ball is on you.
The ball doesn’t need to be in range to Q. Send your ball ahead of the minion wave to zone. If an enemy comes in-between you and the ball, you can Q to bring it back towards you.
Wait for your ball to finish moving before you do anything. Nothing is worse than going Q > R and realizing that the enemy team has split up whilst your ball was moving to them.
Whenever you poke make use of the passive. Her autos deal a looot of damage if you use them well. You can’t use any abilities whilst your ball is traveling, so AA instead.
If you have an easy-to-reach button that isn’t being used, bind it to self cast E. Makes shielding yourself a tiny bit quicker.
If an enemy carry is split pushing, and no one is going to deal with it, as long as you are slightly fed you will be able to kill them in seconds. Q through them, slow them with W. If that doesn’t kill them your AAs should finish it off. Q>E for a quick finisher, or E>W for a quick speedboost.
Your ult is great but predictable. Hide your ball in walls/structures, or under dragon. Attach it to a champion who has good engage, so that you can follow up with your ult.
Keep an eye on the arrow above your head. If it is red and you are moving away, don’t ult. You may end up ulting yourself.

Alternatively, if you want to play her support for some reason, keep in mind that her Q will be a waste of mana, her W will help the ADC dodge skillshots, and her shield is equal to, if not better than, Janna’s shield. You can make a minion wave go faster. You can decide which member of your team has shields for the whole fight. Start coin and you can easily disengage a fight.
You never need to be in range of the enemy, just your teammates.

Foxdrop just released a video with eyetracking on so you can see where he is looking. Pretty cool~

Just to add to that, level 1 E in most match ups and R>Flash.

Honestly, unless the champ I’m against is really poke-heavy level 1, I go Q > E > W for the first three levels.

The great thing about leveling E first was that you could shield yourself and AA the enemy to get off a nice early trade. After her passive was essentially nerfed by the early game damage changes, it stopped being so good.
Q gives you more damage, with more range, and the ability to check brushes lvl 1, for less mana. Then if I’m against a bursty champ I’ll max E first, if not then Q first. E’s base poke damage is good, but you get 20% less bonus AP damage than Q at all levels.

R>Flash is risky because you are a squishy champ with a lot of team-fighting potential and you are going right into the middle of the enemy team AND burning one of your escapes. It’s good for surprise engages, but surprise engages in solo queue can be both good and bad. I prefer to play her safe~

Mundo like turn off turrets.

Yes, E has the best trading potential at level 1, even after the nerf on her passive. I can’t see any non-gimmick situation where I would even consider maxing it first though. E>Q>Q for the first 3 levels would be optimal. Possibly E>Q>W for an early all-in. R>Flash is risky and for the most part should only be done for either surprising lane picks/all-ins, or in team fights after buying a zhonya’s. Of course all this is situational.

Trading potential maybe. But I can go check a brush, get two hits off on someone, and get a quick Q>E off when I hit level 2, without having to get anywhere near the enemy. Compare that to E where you can… block poke and get off 2… maybe 3 autos. Just doesn’t seem worth it anymore.
I get W 3rd if there’s a Jarvan or someone.similar, but usually I’ll get it level 4 and focus on maxing Q.

E at level 1 has a base shield strength of 80 + 10 armor/mr. There are a very little number of skills that can break that & since Ori has a valuable level 1 passive it pretty much guarantees free damage. Being a targeted skill as well has the advantage that it can’t miss, making the opponent’s only option to wait for the duration to run out or get chunked down by auto attacks. Not sure where you are going with the level 2 explanation. Leveling E first still gives you the same option, to get a quick Q>E off at level 2. Leveling Q to check a bush is conceptually defensive, unless going for an invade with back up. If you’re going to check a bush with Q, the enemy most likely has vision and you won’t be able to get any auto attacks off, also trinkets.

That is actually a good tactic tbh, but you have to be really careful not being hit by minions. If there is a big creep wave you really dont want to attack the enemy champ, cuz theyll automatically start attacking you right :p? But yeah, if you have a poke ish champion vs you, I definitely would go lvl 1 E.

Also @endofrefrain that is really cool thingie they have, too bad we dont have it here, also the poros of all champs are so cute :3

I…have like 100 losses more than I have wins in normals

Brace yourselves! Im going for final match of my placements lololol.
Heres a pic of my previous ranked game.

TADAAAAAAA, here it is. I wanted plat 1 tho, but for 5/5 that is really good, and im happy. I tought im gonna be in gold ;_;. Well there it is, now I just need to grind up to diamond again sigh.
Fun fact in this game we had a leaver for fist 8 minutes, but I roamed so much we won other lanes llelelelel, then he reconnected and we won the game. Ezzzzzzzz

Syndra? That’s a pretty good score. She feels a bit too clunky right now for me to enjoy playing as her…
