uguu exactly, Ima just buy him to get some free wins before they nerf him lel
Get Riven for top, Ahri for mid, Graves for bot and J4 for jungle. Youâre pretty much covered.
To be fair, he was nerfed down and unused for such a long time that he deserves some love. To my (bad) memory, the last time Graves was top dog for a long time was S2 with the holy trinity of Ezreal, Corki, and Graves (and their amazing Trinity Force usage). Oh, and Taric was good back then. Never forget.
Iâm sure heâs been around now and then since S2, but I canât recall him being as popular as those glory days.
True I remember that glorious holy trinity, and also Taric was one of my main supports that got me insto supports after all. He was really good and tanky. He would fit with any adc tbh because how much his armor was scaling up.
The famous armor duo Taric and Graves was pretty popular around S2 too, I remember that really clearly.
Yes. Graves is almost definitely the strongest in higher tier play right now. An interesting side note, graves has always been this strong/bursty; it was even something that I had complained about for a time back when I was silver. The reason heâs so popular now is because of a shift in the meta. Soon enough, even if they donât nerf him, someone will find a solid counter and he wonât seem as good again. That said, I do think either his burst or his free tank stats could use a little toning down to make him fit in line, but whether or not they do that doesnât really matter in the long run.

J4 for jungle.
i played a ranked game the other day where someone said to ban or first pick J4 if someone could play him(I said I could and the guy picked him and traded with me). I donât even think I did that great(aside from 1 ulti that was literally the best J4 ulti I have ever seen) and I later found out I built him wrong, but I still kicked ass with his kit. He has basically everything a jungler needs right now.
Engage, decent tankiness, nice early clears, and the FLAAAAAG! The flag that can get you assists with a click of a button.
One of my earliest memories of League was my friend and I were in a match against a Cho and we were really confused about how he was growing. I remember asking the enemy Cho and having to eventually look it up after the game. I also veeery vaguely remember my first ever match, which was as Wu on old Twisted Treeline. Looking back on it, itâs crazy how confusing League is when youâre just thrust into it with nobody to guide you.
My friend who introduced me to the game was also a total scrub, and I remember one of the first things he taught me was that Revive was overpowered, so we both went revive and fed super hard. I remember my friend played Janna a lot and some guy called him out, saying something along the lines of, âWhy do you keep trying to fight them, Janna is a support champion.â (Although it was prolly a lot more offensive than that)
Of course, we thought he was full of crap and went on feeding.
The first guide for the game I ever saw was a Youtube video for attack speed Cho. Since it was a guide, it had to be super optimal and correct so I played it in 3âs. That was probably my best game at the time, and I got some kills ânâ stuff. Looking back, though, the guide and build were super bad, and the dude clicked his potions to use them. Hah.
My friend and I thought Nasus was broken because of his E, since it was big, ranged, AoE damage. Not to mention that Nasus had a godly ult that let you do damage AND gained you a ton of health. Of course, he wasnât actually that overpowered, but he was to us.
I picked up Zed totally on a whim one day, having only played him once before when he was free. In my first game as him (normals) I got a pentakill, one of the few Iâve ever had. Immediately after the game I refunded Zed, since I didnât like playing him. Do note, though, that the penta was more luck and less Faker mechanics, so I donât claim to be good.
Iâd type more but mobile sucks. Anyways, talking about S2 made me nostalgic.
I am really suprised, that they didnt nerf Graves yet, he has been really strong since like more than 2 patches now and didnt get nerfed at all.
I think mine was Mundo (or another health-cost based ugly guy) on the Rift. I didnât really understand the items, and the recommended ones didnât provide any regen, so I was just killing myself⌠Didnât enjoy it, but I still enjoyed Shurelily stuff so I kept with the game.
Mine was Shurelyaâs zoning guide~ I was like âEh, this is common sense though!â I quickly realized that paying attention to your own position as well as minions, enemies, and the map, is a very hard thing to doâŚ
Not much has changed there. Take a trip into bronze one day and see everyone cower in fear of the big dog.
I think Zed was added somewhere between the aforementioned Mundo game and the start of season 3. Totally missed all of the additions between Syndra and⌠Quinn? Or Thresh if he came first.
I was so confused when he started showing up in games. Who is this guy??
The only champion I bought the bundle for. I mean the champion and the skin.
Speaking of twisted treeline, that was my actual interest what got me into league. I started on 3âs and stayed there until like lvl 15 lol. Then got into summ rift somehow.
Link Kazaâs faker confirmed Kappa.
I actually started because a friend of mine made me play Dominion.
So the first thing in league I actually played was Dominion.
Nowadays I really hate Dominion.
so was mine! heh. heh. * gives @Wicklebee a friendly nudge *
I did the same thing with Diana and Thresh, both of which are in my tier 1 mains for their given role. I also did that with pantheon, but I found out later that I didnât like him and ended up refunding him. I guess sometimes you win and sometimes you dont.
My first game was as Veigar, and I had someone effectively speaking another language that I didnât yet know (and then immediately translating it into another language that I did not know, but at that point I just decided to pretend that I knew what was going on in order to progress the game). I did so bad and had so little fun that I almost dropped the game completely, but I gave it some more time and eventually found Kayle, who was my first ever champion that I enjoyed playing.
hah, I remember those days. in fact, I remember basically the whole journey to where I am now, and how it changed relative to who I was playing with. I remember being afraid of people who played games against humans because I thought they were all hard asses, and then being afraid of people who played ranked because I thought they would be better than I was, and then at another point thinking that if I met a gold player I was in the presence of a GOD (I didnât think plat and higher actually existed outside of pros at that point). Eventually it grew to the point where I became comfortable playing with and against diamond players, and nowadays Iâll even meet up with some famous people every once in a while on the rift. (I played a game a couple months back where I was in bot lane supporting Lustboy and one of my lane opponents was Doublelift. I donât remember the actual outcome of the game, but let me tell you that was ONE HELL OF A LANE!) Every time something like that happens I always feel awkward, but proud that Iâve gotten to the point where I can play with people like that.
Saw it and I am definitly gonna get it day 1
ehh, I still prefer Aether Wing Kayle, for various reasons, but Iâm still going to pick this one up
Best track
That skin is one of my âmost wantedâ legendary skins. She is just georgous and really awesome.
Also when she was released and she had her login screen and music that was really awesome. Somtimes I still play her track because of how awesome it is. Gotta love riotâs music :>
@Takafumi I love everything about that track, and I think all of them fits the skin. I said everything in my chat with you so I dont want to repeat myself. But I definitely am going to buy her day 1 for sure!
My favorite is the Ethereal one. I will definitly get this skin.
thatâs odd, because I like Concussive the mostâŚ
Concussive is my second favorite. Really hype, and I can see it working well in-game.
As an actual song though, Kinetic is catchy and memorable, whereas the other two are nice to listen to, but donât have obvious coherency to make the track get in my head.
