Thanks you two

Takafumi, Whitby is one of my favourite places in our country, I used to love going there as a kid. Youā€™re lucky you live in such a scenic place! And now that I think about it, Iā€™m pretty sure Air was set in Whitby

Itā€™s a nice holiday location! Lots of nice folk tales told around here. Very busy in the Summer though! Thereā€™s Goth Weekend, Folk Week, all the normal tourists are there too of course.
I used to take photos of the moon as it rose. From the end of my street, looking over the coast from the cliffsā€¦ It felt as close as the moon from Majoraā€™s Mask sometimes!

Itā€™s very much about the sea and the countrysideā€¦ Beaches and cliffs on one side, forested areas hidden beneath and above. Lots of historyā€¦ Maybe thatā€™s why I like the atmosphere of Air so much. Ah, but we have a good mix of North-east England in there too :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey everyone! Iā€™ve been following Kazamatsuri since before it was created, but I just created an account now so I could spread the good news that Hibikiā€™s Magic has been relicensed.

Iā€™m from Canada originally, though I live in Texas now. Way too hot here in the summer. Iā€™ve been doing graduate school, but thankfully Iā€™m almost done.

Iā€™ve watched all the Key anime adaptions, and played Clannad, Planetarian, and Rewrite, starting with watching Angel Beats! in 2011. Then I watched Clannad, and I have yet to see a better anime. Thatā€™s also the series that made me fall in love with Kyoto Animation. You have no idea how excited I am for the A Silent Voice movie.

Iā€™m an Xbox gamer. For a long time, Halo was the fandom I was into. Read all the books, stayed up all night to buy the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 at launchā€¦ My interest waned after Bungie left the series though. I guess anime has picked up the slack.

Currently, Iā€™m busy wishing that I knew Japanese because it would make my hobby so much more accessible.

Welcome~

Just start learning then! You know what they say, ā€œThe best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, but the second best time is today!ā€

Eyo @Bacon41, welcome!

[/quote]I know your pain, we need those things from Matrix where they just upload knowledge into your brain!

Welcome to you fellow Canadian!

Oh man, Iā€™d be all over thatā€¦ So much easier than trying to memorize kanji.

Thanks! Iā€™m being a good Canadian right now and listening to hockey. Go Jets!

@Bacon41, Welcome here. :smile:

Wow, If you are xbox gamer and Key fan, I recommend you to play Air (Keyā€™s Visual Novel) in the original Xbox console (or emulator) too.

Oh, I didnā€™t realize that they had ported it to Xbox. So few VNs are, though I know Steins;Gate was on the 360 originally.

Hello and Welcome Bacon41 (for some bizarre reason your name makes me hungry), let me give you an advice, wishing doesnā€™t change anything, so instead of wishing start studying Japanese and open the doors to a new world!

Ahh well I forgot to do this earlier but welcome @Josef_Hare and @Bacon41! Hope you have a good time here! @Josef_Hare I see youā€™ve already gotten comfortable here and I hope @Bacon41 and everyone else will do the same!

Hi! Sakamoto here. I generally read all kinds of visual novels (including KEY stuffs) in my spare time. Other than that, I run my own visual novel blog and buy visual novels online (still waiting on buying Clannad on Steam). My favourite KEY character would be Kyou, because rampaging woman.

Anyways, nice to meet you guys here :yum:
