General Gaming Discussion

If it’s possible to netplay it, I’ll be nabbing it when I get a new computer for giggles.

That was a long time ago! I was more of an Ikumi player. The blood, the contrast with the latter heroines and such made me like her

Also, this could be relevant to your interests: EFZ Revival

Someone was streaming it on Twitch earlier this year. Early Summer I think…
I used to play it when people were still actually online playing it, but it was very dead. (I hear it was really popular once upon a time before I even had internet access.) I played Mai for all the speedyness but I was more about looking cool than actually winning… Nowadays I just include them (and some fan-made Key characters) in my MUGEN installation, which is a customized version of Infinite Loli Factory.

While we have doujin games on the topic, what Key-related games have you all played? In-case you’ve never looked around for them, as you can imagine, Key doujin games were reeeaaally popular in the early 2000s. It’s nowhere near as popular now, but we get more quality at least~ :stuck_out_tongue:

The only ones I still have lying around are Air Flight, Air Tennis, AirRade, ColorfulSnow, Mamono Hunter Mai, Kanon & Air Smash, and Pocket Kanon & Air.
The only ones I still play every now and then are Air Tennis, Colorful Snow, and Mamono Hunter Mai. The others are hit and miss.

AirRade had 3 versions, with Air being the most recent

…too dificult, but I liked the idea back then.

As for others… there’s the mentioned EFZ, Glove on Fight and Tomoyo Fighter

Time to make a Key Doujin Game Discussion topic?

That’d be a good idea. Not sure how much activity it’d get, but it’d be a good way to bring in new members if we get the thread high up enough on google.

Wassup boyz, im rather curious, is anyone considering to buy the new witcher 3 when it comes out? Also if someone played the previous 2 ones, I would like to know if they are really worth playing :). (I already read some reviews… still dont know, i prefer you guys telling me i hope you get this hue)

Yesh~ Doing pretty alright with her. Feels good taking out a whole life bar from round start.

Can’t wait to get home and finally really learn how to play her.
Just wondering but do you netplay?

Yo I was wondering how many of us have played Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And what your opinions on that are.
Im really curious about this one, because its a masterpiece imo. And if someone doesnt know it, you may just look at the trailer or something, because its definitely worth playing. Also it is known for its awesome soundtracks and atmosphere.

I played it at least 3 times. it’s pretty cool.

I had a couple friends recommend it to me, but it never really sounded that great. then one day I was hanging out with 2 of my friends and one decided to bring it over to show it to us(he hadn’t played it yet either). during the whole opening sequence they were both like “oh great, another futuristic shooter with an unusual combat system. I’d rather play Mass Effect” and I was just sitting there like “holy fuck guys, this opening sequence is amazing, just look at how well set up the story is! its got a really interesting setting too!” Unfortunately they stopped playing after the prologue, but I sure as hell bought the game for $5 and played the crap out of it when it went on sale last winter sale. I’d really like to play it again one of these days, but I kind of have more pressing matters at the moment.(namely the 5 VNs I should really be reading right now and the ever distracting Dragon Age: Inquisition keeping me from reading those VNs)

Nice, I dont like people like those people that are judging only by the looks. And you did a really good thing to not be like them and play it.
Did you do all the side quests as well?
Also, how did you like the OST? Did it fit the atmosphere? There is a lot to talk about, but Im glad some of us played it and actually enjoyed it.
Imo that game is just one of 10/10 games that is really well built in every kind of way (music, story, open areas, dynamic etc.).
A lof of people dislikes it because its not a proper shooter, its more focusing on stealth combat (really my friends gave up on that because it was “too hard” to play like that lol)

I’ve been meaning to play it for a while. My housemates are always getting on my case about how much I’d enjoy it. I guess I might start soon :stuck_out_tongue:

If you like dynamic games, and breathtaking plot you may just go and play it aspi. Im sure anyone who has that kind of sense for games will love Deus EX:HR.
If you do play it someday, please tell us your opinions and impressions :).

I’m not really into these types of games, but when it came out on ps+ I tried it out and it was amazing. So take it from someone who knows nothing about Deus ex, it’s really good.
