And so the badass Brotherhood boss appears!
…at least, lets hope he’s as badass as he seems. From the 60 seconds we got to see him for, he seemed like he could be kinda a ham…

HE’S THE VILLAIN.

Or rather, he came across as slimy as fuck and Yuu was cautious around him which makes it seem like he’s not being treated as a complete good guy.

Probably has plans on forcing Yuu to plunder and do right where he fucked up without caring at all what Yu thinks.

But you know Yuu will go along with it anyway, because muhyumi.

Voiced by Daisuke Ono!

He didn’t seem slimy to me the first time around, but now that you mention it, yeah, kinda slimy.

I had bad guy vibes from him from the start. Why seperate yourself from your family? Why erase their memories of you? Things are just too weird like that.

I wouldn’t call him slimy, but more eccentric I guess. He came off to me more as a person teasing their little brother, rather than as slimy.

He had that shit eating grin on his face the entire time, and while knowing everything, he still spent plenty of time beating around the bush.

Something is off.

I have a shit eating grin all the time, and I’m not evil… at the moment. He’s also not really beating around the bush as he seems really open to talk about what he’s done.

Nuh uh, he’s making Yuu and Nao wait a whole week before telling them his time-leap story ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So does anyone else agree that Shunsuke currently can’t use his power, and he has to rely on Yuu plundering his power in order to perform another time leap?

I don’t know about that. He’s shown to be capable of using his power in the Opening. How much that actually means, I don’t know.

Yes. I might be jumping to conclusions, but that’s the first thing I thought when I noticed he was (supposedly) blind. (Aside from the obvious “Oh, he’s blind now.” xP)

It would be odd if his being blind didn’t serve the purpose of disabling his power, esp. after they showed that he needs light to enter his eyes to use it.

Though we don’t know too much about him yet.

I get the impression that Shunsuke is the chessmaster archetype, and his sliminess comes from the fact that he has a plan that involves everyone, but no one knows their real purpose yet. I mean, if your goal is to go back in time to change the future, you have to be aware of the domino-effect of each one of your actions.

My guess is that Shunsuke has gone back several times now, and finally set up everything the way he wants it to be. In the process, he’s seen everything play out repeatedly, and knows how everyone will react. For example, he probably knew exactly where Yuu was going to be looking when he walked into Shun’s office, so Shun positioned himself to the side of the door just to mess with his little bro.
