Anybody know what this is? :o

That’s “Deck Cost”. In short, all of your Yuri cards’ costs must not exceed 25.

(In the case that your cost does exceed the max cost, which has happened to me a lot, the LAST card in your line-up has their stats truncated to balance it.)

@zvengeance

The assists do not count as party members: certain quests require “3 people in your party”, for example, and this means that you need 3 of your own cards, PLUS an assist (confirmed). So I would assume that your assist does not count for the “all girls” quests also.

What is it for, exactly…?

The only thing I’ve found is that when you have more cards in the deck, they all cease to be usable during a live event- But I also think I started getting better meal ticket profit. The max cost also increased at some point, ie my Shiina deck was 24, and is now 25. I think it increases with player level. Still ignorant to the purpose, however. xP

It’s to restrict how powerful your character can be. (It’s for game balance)

Cards with lower cost end up with lower parameters, whereas cards with high costs can be more powerful

Hypothetically, if I got 4 SR cards of cost 8 each for every character by level 10, I can’t equip them all since that would make the game too easy. I need to level up in order to eventually use the full potential of all of my cards.

Would you possibly remember how you increased the deck cost limit?

Thanks for the clarification.

I have no idea. I didn’t even notice it until two days ago, then yesterday, after upping my Shiina slots, I noticed it had increased. It might have happened when I maxed the reliability thing for Shiina… But it increased for all of my decks, so it may just be the player level, or for each reliability thing you max. Not sure.

Confirmed, guest cards do not contribute for the quests (except for the quests that reward you for having a specific character as a guest).

And I’m gonna guess that the deck cost limit increases with level, this is a pretty common feature in Mobage’s games

And all characters have the same maximum deck limit at a time

Oooooookay, I just realized what’s up now. I’m dumb haha.

That makes perfect sense, but I didn’t understand what it was balancing because I didn’t understand that the main card received buffs from the other cards in the deck. headdesk

I forgot to label that in my guide, but yeah that is the cost.
The amount of stats that it cuts off is pretty big, so I end up preferring N cards for the last slot

As for the maximum cost, yes, I think it goes up as you level up

I’ve added more side quest missions in my post above in case anyone’s overlooking it. I’ll be editing it and adding more as I go along.

Thanks so much! This will help a lot of people

The ones I kept not understanding were the colors ones but now that I know what to expect from those formats I’m better off

The last sequence of missions is ZebraDestroy, I’m at the end of the line now :frowning: guess I do quest completion now

Boy you guys play a lot.

Rather, I guess I don’t play enough!

So, not only does choosing the same element of the card your feeding give you a tiny point bonus- You also get even more points if it’s the same character.

ie. Ooyama card fed with Ooyama card will net more points than another character of the same type.

Yep. It lets you be a bit more efficient with your exp. EDIT: I’m gonna update this post with more info as I come across it.

9/13/14 EDIT: Finished gathering fusing data. Someone else probably already had this, but here it is.

Fusing using level 1 Ns
No color or character match: 175 exp
Either color or character match: 192 exp - 17 exp bonus (from previous tier)
Color and character match: 210 exp - 18 exp bonus (from previous tier) or 35 bonus exp total

Fusing using level 1 Rs
No color or character match: 1,400 exp
Either color or character match: 1,540 exp - 140 exp bonus (from previous tier)
Color and character match: 1,680 exp - 140 exp bonus (from previous tier) or 240 bonus exp total

Fusing using SRs
No color or character match: 4,200 exp
Either color or character match: 4,620 exp - 420 exp bonus (from previous tier)
Both color and character match: 5,040 exp - 420 exp bonus (from previous tier)

Fusing using level 1 SSRs
No color of character match: 12,600 exp
Either color or character match: 13,860 exp - 1,260 exp bonus (from previous tier)
Both color and character match: 15,120 exp - 1,260 exp bonus (from previous tier)

@DaBackpack, @Pepe I ran a test on this. You are actually totally correct! They do give a massive bonus for fusing cards that have Limit Breaks on them. To Limit Break a card you must fuse it with an identical card.

0 Limit Breaks on a level 16 card.
1 Limit Break.
2 Limit Breaks.
3 Limit Breaks.
4 Limit Breaks.

In the end with an 4 Limit Breaks you’re getting 1,022 additional exp (using a level 16 N, not counting character or type bonus). So, yeah, quite a lot extra.

When feeding your cards, have you guys ever tried tapping on the screen during the feeding animation? It sometimes says “Great” and I once got a “Perfect” depending on the timing. I’m not sure what it does exactly…I wanna say it adds a little more experience to your card?
