Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

Gonna get this in a week or so. Whenever I finish with Layton vs Ace Attorney

Not usually a rumourtrain guy but I feel like this is worth mentioning.

This is one of the leaks from last month, about DLC characters and a ‘Smash World’ mode.

These unused announcer clips were found in the game just recently.

Smash World being the standout.

Impa and Wonder-Red would main if true. The imbalance on the character select and the stage select screens has been bugging me so would like to see this just to fix those, even.

Please let this be legit, the blank spaces on the character select screen bothers me so much. And Wonder Red would be so much fun to play, from what little I’ve seen of Wonderful 101.

Holy shit. I’ve dismissed all DLC leaks up until now, but there may be some truth to this. Get hype!

Hey, that sounds like all the orders I ever give : D

sonic/lucina masterrace

smash sucks tho

Grand revival? maybe? Nokay…
Anyways, who’s hyped for Corrin/Bayonetta?
I think Corrin will have kinda good frame data and a weak combo game. I’m excited to see if you can jab-lock from a canceled side-b.
Bayonetta looks like end-lag city. Her fair looks swanky though…
I bet d-throw d-smash at the ledge will take stocks early

I’m excited for Corrin, but I won’t get him right away due to money stuff. I’m not excited for Bayonetta, since the salt of her getting in has not worn off yet.

I’m still not sure why people are salty that Bayonetta got in. I’ve never even played the games and I think it’s super exciting.

All I care about is what mods I can get on it.

It’s just that they used very vague terms to explain why she got in, and I can’t help but feel the characters who got more votes than her were probably better choices, since Bayonetta to me seemed like far from a character most people would have wanted.

I feel like they worded it that way because she was the one with the most votes that Sakurai was able to add. I’d bet they wanted to get a third party character, but then they had collaboration issues with other companies, which led to “settling” on Bayonetta. She was in the top 5 worldwide if I remember correctly, so it’s not like she wasn’t wanted.

She was first in EU and Top 5 in NA/JP out of possible characters. A lot of characters that got a lot of notice online aren’t popular everywhere (Shovel Knight and Shantae not in Japan) and Bayo was probably one of the only that ranked top 5 worldwide.

So what do you guys think about Corrin and Bayonetta? I’ve been performing better with Corrin, but I have a lot more fun with Bayo. One combo I’ve found with her that’s pretty easy to pull off at low damage is down throw, forward special, up special, forward special, back special, back air. It does over %40 if you can land everything. If in the chance they’re too low at the end, sometimes fast falling just a bit and back airing or just going straight into a down air can make up for that. If with the initial forward special they’re launched too far, sometimes holding B to extend the attack will help you catch them again with Bayo’s kick at the end. I’ve noticed Bayo’s combos are pretty easy to counter/ DI out of, so landing this combo depends on the opponent’s actions. I also noticed she’s pretty susceptible to attacks when coming out of rolls. That’s kind of a shame since I tend to roll often. Also, her smash attacks are incredibly easy to punish. Along with her down smash, short hopping and immediately down airing seems to be a pretty effective ledge guarding option. depending on where they make contact with you you’ll either spike them or launch them back.

I haven’t played Corrin enough to really figure here out, but her forward special is really useful for tricking your opponent because of how fast it is (sticking it into the side of the stage and punishing your opponent when they try to ledge guard or using backwards in the air while your opponent is near you to impale them.)

It’s difficult to tell what Sakurai meant by that, since we don’t know who was the most voted. There could have been highly requested first party characters in the ballot’s top 5. King K. Rool and Wolf come to mind (mind that I did not vote for these characters, and my character never had a chance of getting in).

I won’t deny that she got requested a great deal, but that still doesn’t rule out that there were characters above her in the ballot that we don’t know about, and I just can’t help but feel suspicious as to who those are because of the vague wording from Sakurai.

When they say “Plausible Characters”, I’m sure that meant that they’re ignoring Shrek, Goku and Cory :V

Doubt they got that many votes.
