Looks like the book will release with english and french like that one a few years back did!

Hold on… There was a Key book a few years back that released in English?? Whaaaat.

Also, my understanding is that the English/French stuff was just an additional commentary booklet that was included as a bonus.

Sorry poor wording, Says 対応 So I’m assuming it is just commentary that comes with the book again. Don’t own it myself but I’m pretty sure a clannad artbook released with english and french in the past aswell. Only ar tbook I own is White Fairy which is all japanese.

In case anyone is thinking to obtain this, Vava has just tweeted that the weight is about 2kg. That’s the limit for SAL shipping, and if you factor in the additional weight of the box and padding, you may be looking at expensive overseas shipping costs.

I guess it was to be expected (I was thinking it would be about the same weight as my Little Busters artbooks, which are about 1kg though) Being a foreign Key fan is hard indeed. Just wanted to give a heads up.

Wow, is the book that big or is it just the binding?

This book seems to be very promising, and it’s even readable in French which is very surprising ! There is 99,99 % chances that it will be mine thanks to Japan Expo. But only in Regular Edition, 8000 Yen is too much.

The sad thing is, 8k yen for an artbook isn’t all that crazy if you consider the prices of some anime merchandise out there…

I think I know what I’d rather spent 8k on (hint: It isn’t the item I just linked above, and I don’t want to believe there’s a single person in the world who’d spend so much of money on that kind of crap)

Does anyone know how many of the limited edition Rindou were made? They’re all serial numbered and I just got one with serial number 2000+. Really hard book to find.

That’s actually a hard question to answer… They sold it at numerous events all throughout last year, so they must have done thousands. Plus they even sold it at the overseas events, using a different serial code numbering

If they bothered to serial number each copy, you’d kinda expect the number to be fairly limited, and publicly available, but I didn’t find it by checking the official site at least. Maybe it’s just a PR stunt. Either way it’s hard to find, I’ve been all over art book shops all over Japan over the past year and this was the first copy I ran into.

Just got mine and it’s numbered 3000+, so at least more than 3000 I suppose.

And yeah it’s really difficult to find. Couldn’t find it in Japan; I found one in a shop in Taiwan though but it was way to expensive.

All this talk about how rare it is makes me wish I picked up a copy for myself… :komue:

how much do they go for as resale?

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it were all a publicity stunt. It was being sold for a good year, like they never came close to running out.
