I just hope that Rewrite will be as longest as possible, with possibly all routes. Thatâs my wish not a prediction.

I mean a truly amazing adaption would be to use Moon so they can adapt all of the routes faithfully. Who knows.
So, anyone wanna comb through the interview and give us some translated highlights? Iâm especially interested in info on the anime.
Skimming through, the main writer-whose name isnât revealed- says that he/sheâs mainly worked on comedy and moe. There was much concern about the length of the script. They talked about the amount of action scenes but that part was blurry. There is a lot of love for Yoshino on the team. Hinoue praises the art and stuff. Tanaka finishes with saying that many of the people working with the anime understand Rewrite.

I really like the look so far (except Akane). Kotarou looks really good and the girls look all adorable enough. But thats also a problem because Akane shouldnât look that adorable. As a fan, It feels good to see her in a cute and adorable way but at the same time it feels wrong because she isnât really supposed to show her cute side at all. Like (light akane spoiler) Kotarou I lov⌠Keep working hard! But since thats only based on the first few rough notes we see in the pv, I still have hopes for a badass Akane.
So I take a look at the introduction notes. I canât read Japanese. If I only look at the pictures, its a heavy spoiler and says like everything about rewrites mysteries.
But I donât know what it looks like if you donât know the rewrite vn. It could just be a bunch of pictures that doesnât make sense and feel unrelated to each other.
If you only know about the pictures and you see Akane with a dinosaur, Kotori crying, kotarou and chihaya facing something evil, kagari analysing it all you could get really interested in what everything means, how it is all connected and how the conclusion is at the end.
So I think itâs good as a introduction note. The people who know the VN and the CGâs (like me) will think: Yay, we will see everything adapted, not just one or a few butchered routes!
And the people who donât know about rewrite at all will think: What are these unrelated pictures about, I want to know!
But again, thats only based on the pictures. If the japanese text explains it all⌠Well⌠I think that would be really bad.

I think people exaggerate how Akane looks too cute or whatever. In the VN, she has quite a few sprites that are perfectly non-menacing. Rewrite designs were always moe-blobby, all of them. If youâre gonna worry about them fucking up Akaneâs character, the design is not what I would worry about but that tag line. I found that thing to be really out of character for her.

Also, that introduction manga is filled with spoilers. Itâs a summary of the prologue, the 13th, Gaia and Guardian (including pictures), and the Moon route with all the accompanying twists.

That line is from a perspective switch in the common route where Akane is talking to Chihaya about making friends at this new school. Im not sure why you find it to be out of character.
No itâs not from that scene, at least not as a direct quote. The line basically sound too kind and caring to be Akane at least from the common route. The phrase âăăĺ ´ćâ also seems a bit off.
The fact that Kotori, Chihaya and Lucia are the only ones standing makes me think that they will adapt their routes first, if they do a 2-cour first season adapting the common route and these routes it would be perfect.
and then they can do Shizuru, Akane, Moon and Terra on a 2-cour second season, that would be nice

I canât help but feel like she looks like someone else. Even her non-menacing sprite does not look THAT cute.
I think her tag line is from the beginning of her route.
Kotarou tries to find her and when he does they have a talk in the club room. Akane tries to not get Kotarou involved and make him stay in his old life and in school. I believe she said something like âWouldnât it be nice if this place could become a good place for you?â
When they just wanted to spoil everything âintroduction mangaâ seems like the wrong term for it. Or if this is really meant to be an introduction they will focus the anime on terra route? But they canât really leave the heroine routes out. Maybe we will get something like a summary in like 12 episodes and the other 12 will focus on terra. I donât hope so :masdum:

To be honest. The character sketch looks exactly like the sprite. I think itâs just that the sketches arnt colored in/animated that they look differnt to some people. I actually really like the sketches for akane they are preety accurate to me. Also might be the fact she looks just a bit younger but thats just me, and maybe the fact she aged like a year or two in the vn maybe?
On the contrary, there is more chance that Terra is overlooked to give more screentime other routes due to the importance given to heroines in the publicity and they are the center of the majority of the game.
what if it gets the Durarara x2 treatement ( an anime divided into 3 seasons, each season has 12 episodes)

No, it was from the scene where Akane is first introduced. After extorting Kotarou into joining the club she says it, but I still feel itâs out of place because she is super condescending throughout that entire scene. (Terra) I guess itâs true that she does remember him. I was never really convinced about that.
Maybe thats it⌠she does look younger.
Sounds good to me. (Terra) since the heroines donât really appear in the terra route, it wouldnât make sence to advertise them big, right?
Guess I would be fine with 36 episodes. But the more, the better.
That does seem a bit weird. (Terra) Maybe she remembered him and tried to be nice at first.
There is no evidence for this but Iâm gonna believe it anyway

I think the meaning of the image has more to do with the characters itself, for example:
Akane and Chihaya are together on the left because theyâre from Gaia.
Shizuru and Lucia are together on the right because theyâre from Guardian.
And Kotori is alone on the middle because sheâs a druid.
Also, the fact that both Akane and Shizuru arenât standing might be because the Salvation only happens on their routes.
I think thatâs due to the eyebrows. As a person who draws anime/moe, Iâve learned that Eyebrow placement and what the mouth looks like, can affect what a person can seem like. I can make a tsundere turn into a kuudere with changing its eyebrows and mouth. Blush also works if you want to go all out. Hereâs an example using my own character that I drew.
