Read the original VN (almost) twice, watched the anime plus the first two episodes of EX. I stopped because I decided I didnāt want to spoil myself before reading those routes in the VN.
I read/watched all except EX, I donāt see the EX anime cause I want to read it first in the VN
I read the VN, followed by the anime, and then destroyed my eyes for the Holy Little Busters Glory by reading the EX routes with ITH/TA.
I have no experience of LN! at all!
Iām with BotanRugbyBall. There are currently only 4 voters in that category too.
I have read none of Little Busters but I did watch both seasons of the anime. Never did watch the OVA episodes with Saya though.
I just hope that itās not an outrageous price, and that us few LB āvirginsā will be able to playthrough at more or less the same time. My desire to play it is based purely on enjoying CLANNAD but I know next to nothing about this VN.
I expect $40. I hope $30.
Iāve read Komari, Rin1, Kurugaya, and Haruka. Iām gonna wait until the bookclub for the rest.
I hope it isnāt an outrageous price either, and Iād prefer it being $40 or less. I also know very little about this, but I also donāt know much about Clannad. Itās likely that everyone else will play LB before me - and thatās still great news of course - but I will eventually get to it.
(This is for anyone of course) Also, for curiosity sake, about how long is Little Busters anyway?
I think LBPE is supposed to be the longest Key visual novel so itās probably at least ~60 hours
I read all except EX, now waiting for Perfect Edition.
Maybe Iām a pessimist but I really donāt think thereās much chance of it being $30. $40 maybe but Iād guess itāll be $50 like Clannad. Tomoyo After and Harmonia were cheap because not only were they short, they were also more niche titles that mostly only people who know or like Key would buy. Little Busters! is like Clannad in its length and popularity. These are the big seriesā that people know Key for. Clannad is still $50, so Iād imagine LB is too. Iād like to be proven wrong though.
For regular edition/anime I read/watched it as soon as they came out with fan TL/aired.
I watched some of the ex anime but only up to the point I had sort of knew. The problem with being a fan of something for so long and not reading it, is you are bound to run into spoilers. So Iāve seen some cgs and heard some things that I shouldnāt have =( it has only been saya stuff. the other two routes are still truly unknown to me.
I hope that you are wrong because this is a bad time to buy things in Ā£, $50 is likely to = Ā£50
I am relatively confident it wonāt be $50. I could be wrong, but letās hope not
Steam is super obsessed with small cheap games. Putting little busters on steam is a really bad match. $30 is so lowball from a script size point of viewā¦ I think the main problem is I feel nobody knows how long a game is when they buy itā¦ They see 3 vns for 20 bucks and say damn I got a good deal, but those games are like 1/4th the size of lbme and they rip themselves off in reality. even at 50 it is a good deal assuming the script sizes I am looking at are somewhat accurate. Grisaia no Kajitsu is $40 at 30% less scrip sizeā¦ and that is rounding in Grisaiaās favor. $30 imo is insanity.
Keep in mind that this version of Little Busters is longer than CLANNAD by 9000 lines and is overall a much longer game by the addition of Sayaās route. If CLANNAD went for 50ā¬, then Little Busters will probably be of similar if not superior pricing.
Or a miracle happens.
I dunno, gather some light orbs or something.
Watched all anime, finished Komari and Haruka routes, waiting for steam release to finish the VN
Iāve seen all of LB anime and the vanilla VN as well. I didnāt finish watching EX anime because I didnāt want to spoil myself until I read the EX routes. Although Iāll admit that I did read Kanataās and Sasamiās routes with Visual Novel Reader at first which didnāt work out well for me. That was my mistake.
Anyway, itās been a year since I played EX so I wouldnāt mind going through it again just to re-read those routes and finally getting to read Sayaās route too as a different type of experience when it releases on Steam.
