In a surprise announcement, Key's official Twitter account just shared a link to a mysterious webpage, titled "Rewrite New Project". The website, located at http://rewriteim.jp, has only a countdown timer, scheduled for 12 noon on December 15, Japan time. Quite a strange website! Any ideas what it could
Visualart’s Team Aeca confirmed that they are producing the Project.
They are the ones who made “Angel Beats Operation Wars” so this will most likely be a mobile game
but yeah I hope that we will get to see lots of masterpieces from ZEN on this one
also I kinda hope that its less like LBCM and ABOW and more like Fate/Grand Order

I never really got on board with the other Key mobage, but I’m pretty keen to give this one a try!
I just have really mixed feelings…
I will give it a try. For sure.
But they generally tend to be a simple money sink for title lovers.
There are some exceptions to it, but if it would turn out to be a simple card-collection game, I would be more disappointed in them, than he is disappointed in us.
But cards means heaps of art! God knows there’s not enough Rewrite fanart as is.
That would be the only good point in all of that… Still, sigh.
Mobage! I’m not really a big fan of them but it’s always good to get the card collection book after the game ends.
I’m not a mobage person myself, but Rewrite mobage --> moar Rewrite fanart --> moar Kotori fanart --> drools
As long as it’s not a jewelry ripoff with Rewrite’s characters on it it’s fine
But if it’s a game like Fate/Grand Order then OHHH BOI I would play that all day and cry because it’s too addicting
I’m not the best mobage fan out there, but I might just give this one a try. I’m just hoping I could get past the language barrier. /o/
And also, this is the second time I’m seeing this kind of timer this year(by that I mean something I will get hyped for), let’s just hope I won’t be disappointed this time…
P.s - Am I the only one that finds the static on said page to be kinda cool?
Hopefully it’s a mobage that’s a real game and not a card shitfest.
Even Biz will only defend ABOW for the art.
I’m not into mobage games myself but when I first heard the news about it on Twitter, I wasn’t sure what the Rewrite Project meant in those terms. I wanted to make sure the source was credible and turns out that it was really true. I do think it’s interesting so we’ll see what it holds out. I can’t say I played mobile games before so that’s pretty much a given. Hehe. But I guess seeing our favorite Rewrite characters in the game would be exciting to see some new fanart as @BlackHayate02 had mentioned earlier. That’s all I can say from here.
If it is a cute mobile game, I might play it ^^
