Little Busters! Greenlight Page Launched

The first step in the long awaited Little Busters! steam release is here. Key has now put up the page for the game on Steam Greenlight, so we obviously urge everyone to show their support. The page advertises the new features of HD resolutions, instant language switching and tablet support as was already reported. Just to emphasize, since we somehow still get questions about it, this is the Perfect Edition which includes all nine heroine routes. There is no sexual content, but believe me as someone who has first-hand experience when I say you don’t want it. Everyone at Kazamatsuri is excited for the release of Little Busters!, as it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say this community was created for this moment. Make sure to stick around for any more news or details about the game or our own events surrounding the release

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://kazamatsuri.org/little-busters-greenlight-page-launched/

Will definitely vote for it and It’ll go onto my Steam wishlist later!

My wallet is:
ready

I was also surprised to see many of you posting your love on the Steam comments! I will buy it once it comes out but I would still like to see whether they are planning for a physical release too. I might get an imported Limited Edition first, IDK.

From the screenshots I think they’ve put in saya’s 3D rendered background in from the PS3 version! That’s quite exciting.

My wallet is also ready.

I find funny that we have already people on Steam to protest to lack of H-content. I understand the reasoning and I find the other people a little condescending in their answers. But I wonder if they will have the same reaction to Rewrite+ which cut scenes in Terra.

Why would they care about Rewrite: it doesn’t have porn.

My wallet was ready for Little Busters but then the Batman Arkham series went on sale.

The readiness of my wallet will depend on how much it costs. I have a little over 32 (American) dollars sitting on steam right now.

I should admit that actually I am really worried about the greenlight. Little Busters is not as known as Clannad :yahaha:

The greenlight doesn’t actually really matter. They’ve already published games on steam so they aren’t required to use greenlight and LB is probably almost done. It’s not as if they’ll scrap the project if they don’t get greenlighted, they WILL sell it on steam no matter what.

Man, I am all of the hyped for LB on Steam. Like others here (don’t mean to intensify this echo chamber) I totes voted for it on Greenlight. I am not super familiar with that system (since I access Steam itself very rarely anyway), but I am pretty sure that even if it relied solely on people’s votes, it would still make it through to an official release. There are a couple things I am hoping happen regarding the game:

I honestly hope the price is fairly reasonable. I know they are kinda combining both EX and the original Visual Novel, but I remember having to practically beg family members around Christmas time last year for more Steam cards just to get Clannad when it first came out on Steam. From what I have seen, they do enough Steam sales that I am not too worried, but I would appreciate not having it cost something ridiculous (though I would probably have to bite the preverbal bullet even if it was because I have no restraint on these things sometimes).

Also, I hope like the other Key VN’s that there is a soundtrack that is buyable or that you can at least hear the tracks from the game in a separate menu or something. It would be nice if it was actually downloadable on Steam or exportable to an MP3 format, as I am fairly certain there is no way you can hear the music without being in the game.

As for a release date, it sounds like it will be this summer but honestly, I really hope it is anytime after June since, after that, I will be free from the suffocating shackles of misery that people call post-secondary education.

Boy howdy is this exciting.

My wallet is ready, my body is ready, a day one buy for me.

I also told my friend and brother who are very casual VN fans to take a look, and both of them voted!

Hope we hear of a release date soon~

Does anyone here followed the previous greenlight releases of the other KEY games? If you know how long it took for them to release those we might be able to get a decent idea of how long it’ll take LB to be released…

Though it’s probably very unreliable since each project probably got greenlighted at different times in their development :nonono:

And since Little Busters is pretty much as big as Clannad I don’t expect it to be any lower than what Clannad was selling for on Steam… So $50 would probably be the price tag here.

Hopefully I can somehow obtain enough money by its release because I know that I’ll be buying as soon as it gets on Steam~

Someone got excited on the Steam discussion pages because they thought from a Gamefaqs page LB! had a release date of 27th July…unfortunately they didn’t see it related to the original release date in 2007! https://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/939434-little-busters/data

That said, could Key/VisualArts be aiming for a 10th anniversary release…? Hope so!

I’ve heard speculations of earlier releases, but I think that if it’s going to be the latest, 10th anniversary would be the magic date (lol).
