It is really cool you were able to really talk with people there. I would probably pass out if I tried. I tweeted at Visual Arts Key about HD assets for Tomoyo After and Little Busters. I guess I had not really realized that there was a real possibility they might not be in HD. I would be pretty sad especially if Little Busters wasn’t in HD.

I like the idea, I’m really excited to see more podcasts of other events.
And yeah, I’m disappointed for possibly not having an HD version of LB! And tomoyo after, but I think we still have to support them anyways… Getting an official translations is always great. i guess they’ll avoid making the same mistakes on later releases.and since the games will be released on steam, isn’t an HD update possible ?

It’s very unlikely they’ll update the game once they’ve made their decision.
I was thinking about this more, and if there’s any artists interested in helping out, you should do an artwork asking for the games to be released in HD. That would probably go down a lot nicer!

I guess it wouldn’t be so hard for them either, considering both LB and TA have PS3 versions. Although if they do make it HD, I personally would like a 16:9 format. Although having it in 4:3 does have its benefits (like I can keep tweetdeck on the side of the screen while playing clannad lol)

I guess they could do that too, some other games get major updates on steam, I don’t think that this isn’t doable but I don’t know if visual arts are willing to do that considering the time they announced the steam releases…

Isn’t it Fruitbat Factory who’s handling the publishing of Little Busters! though? If the Steam version isn’t getting an HD release, then that’s most likely because Fruitbat Factory wasn’t able to secure the rights to use the HD assets from VisualArts and any other related parties.

No, it’s my understanding that VisualArt’s are publishing their titles on their own. They’re only working together with Fruitbat’s translators, the ones who did the fan translation. And yes, that’s exactly what we are talking about; contacting VisualArt’s to make sure they allow this to happen.

Where, exactly, do I go to voice my opinions?

You can try contacting the VisualArt’s Facebook Page. If you’re confident in your Japanese, you can try tweeting the official Key Twitter or President Baba himself.
