HYPE! Downloading it now  Thanks loads @Japesland
Prolly gonna do a mini-review of this later on once I am done listening to it.
(still requesting for a lossless version nudgenudgewinkwink)

It’s a beautiful album, @Japesland. Thanks for putting in the substantial amount of time and effort necessary to make it a reality! The saxophone gives the tracks a clean, smooth sound which is a nice compliment to the originals. Well done!

Out of pure curiosity, will a limited number of promotional disks be produced? I ask since I saw you included disc and booklet information in the download. I’d love to get my hands on a copy if they exist!

This is all I got.

The whole album is outstanding, everyone should at least have a listen. Mad props to @Japesland for bringing such beautiful work to the community, and for free! Also it’s really cool that a lot of the covers are featured in podcasts

I love this album so much and it’s fricken free. My favorite is probably The Palm of a Tiny Hand. All of them are really good, high quality video game… rips? uh anyways, thanks so much to @Japesland! How long did the entire album take to finish? And did you somehow find sheet music for all of the songs or did you do it all yourself? Either way, I’m sure it took a lot of effort so thank you very much!

Thanks, it makes me really happy to hear more people are downloading it and enjoying it!

I normally use the word “cover,” but in this case, since I didn’t add much of my own flair, maybe “rip” is more accurate :stuck_out_tongue:

I can’t really remember, but I think it took about a month. Granted, that was a month of working on it a lot and not having a job or any other real responsibilities at the time.

I largely created the sheet music by myself by transcribing by ear, though the rest of the tracks are heavily modified midi tracks that are credited in the album insert. They’re all sampled with one of the GarageBand symphony packs, which you can’t get anymore T_T
