Itaru Hinoue Interview by Kawaii Kakkoii Sugoi

Recently at Anime Expo 2015 in Los Angeles, Japanese pop culture blog Kawaii Kakkoii Sugoi scored an interview with Itaru Hinoue, one of the founders and art directors at Key. The interview brings up topics like her drawing inspirations, and food and music she likes. It's a fun little read,

Osaka Takoyaki is really amazing. I should check out her recommendation the next time I’m there!

That was an interesting read! I looked up that dempagumi.inc group she mentioned, and they were a pretty cute group. I can see why it would be good drawing music, especially when doing the kind of art that she usually does. Its very upbeat.

OOooh, a name I recognize! KKS is worth checking out. Their Power Rangers Convention videos were pretty good.
I’m surprised at the mention of BLOOD-C. Not the show I’d expect HI to like.

They were in London! They’re pretty good. Naruse Eimi has a lot of presence compared to the others, which can be a bit weird sometimes.
They’re getting a lot of publicity recently. They starred in an advert a couple weeks ago, and have been showing up on YT a lot. They also did the OP of Punchline which aired last season iirc.

I found another interview http://www.t-ono.net/interview/Itaru-Hinoue-Interview-Anime-Expo-2015.html

We actually already edited the article to reflect that XD

Cute interviews but I was hoping they would dive a bit more into her creative process, it is interesting to know that she listens to anime soundtracks when she draws haha.
