Introduce Yourself!

Makes sense!!

thanks lol i was wondering how they did it

Welcome to @Pik3rob, @CC22 and @Hiikari! Hope you all enjoy your stay!

Hello everyone,
Im a Key fan from germany and I really love anything in which Maeda Jun was part of.
Unfortunatly I couldnt play any vn outside of planetarian yet.
I found this site through a post from sekai project during the air podcast and after this weeks charlotte episode I felt like posting something for the first time ever so I stopped lurking around.
After watching Angel Beats! (My favourite anime of all time), Clannad (my 3rd most favourite anime) and the later the first season of Little Busters I was looking for something as good and it was only then that I realised it was all connected to one amazing company.
Other than key stuff I watch a ton of anime so much that it became pretty hard to find new series to watch.
Thats pretty much all Im looking forward to all the discussions even though I will probably read more than I will write.

Hello!
Iā€™m pretty new to this whole anime thing actuallyā€¦ a friend recommended one piece to me around a year ago, and I read until around the end of the Alabasta Arch though I stopped soon after. Another friend was pushing me to read one piece as well, so I decided to try the anime. Through that I watched an episode of Shokugeki no Soma from my cousin and was hooked. Just started Charlotte and it seems awesome.

Welcome to you @Celly, I hope you have fun on this forum. Also, welcome to the world of anime.

Welcome! I hope you have fun on the forums, and with anime in general!

Welcome @Celly. Try Sword Art Online, itā€™s my favorite anime. And try to stay away from peopleā€™s negative comments about Charlotte (specially on anime forums like MAL), they can be really discouraging. We all know Jun Maeda tried his hardest to write a beautiful story for us.

Eyo @Celly, welcome, I recommend sticking with the One Piece manga instead of the anime

I guess Iā€™ll just post what I put on my profile.

Hello everyone, I am Rippleshadow, but you can call me Ripple. Iā€™m a 17 year old female in the U.S.A. whose interest in anime is a result of interest in the Japanese language, not the other way around. Also, I really like eating chicken.
My first exposure to Key was in 2012 when I watched Angel Beats!, and I became a ā€œfanā€ of Key in 2013 when I watched Clannad.

Iā€™ll list my favorite Key works from best to worst, although I love every Key work Iā€™ve watched (Iā€™ve only experienced the anime, not the VNs)

  1. Angel Beats! and Clannad Afterstory
  2. Kanon 2006
  3. Little Busters! Refrain
  4. Clannad
  5. Air
  6. Planetarian
  7. Little Busters!
  8. Charlotte

Have you heard of our lord and savior Leeroy?

You have good taste nod nod

I think a lot of Key fans are disappointed with Charlotte right now. It still has potentialā€¦ but I think itā€™s too late to be anything better than great.

[/quote]I donā€™t know what your plans are, but you should definitely definitely check out the VNs. They are all much better than their anime adaptations, some of them head and shoulders so.

Anyways, welcome to Kazamatsuri! Youā€™ll most certainly be seeing me around, so I hope to see you around too! (b^^)b

Nice to meet you @Rippleshadow. I hope you have a great time with us here.

Welcome Rippleshadow! Are you sure you didnā€™t mean for Kanon 2006 to be first? Anyway I hope you can enjoy the visual novels soon! They really are wonderful

Disagree completely. It is too early to judge it because it HAS NOT finished it. The interactions between the characters are good imo, Yuu is a very good protagonist, the soundtrack is great, the anime has been getting better and better since episode 5ā€¦ It still has potential to be a masterpiece. Also, hello @Rippleshadow

Welcome to the forum @Rippleshadow,

My story is quite similarā€¦ Iā€™m relatively new to this world too.
But let me tell you this: try at least one VN.

Find which anime you love the most and then go for the VN.
I see Clannad / Clannad After Story is in your list. Great! There youā€™ll have quality guaranteed and pure ā€œKeynessā€ in my opinion.

Iā€™m currently reading Rewrite. It is a good option, although it is quite different to previous Key worksā€¦
Anyway, I canā€™t stop reading itā€¦ and, who knows, maybe someday it will become an anime and we will enjoy the story the other way around: VN first, then anime.

(I wish I had experienced LB in that order!)

Welcome again, have fun and share you thoughts!
