According to the Key official twitter, Yuuto Tonokawa will be writing a new light novel entitled 「Farewell,ours 〜夏の僕らは瞬きもできない場所へ〜」, or "Farewell,ours ~Natsu no Bokura wa Mabataki mo Dekinai Basho e~", with Itaru Hinoue as the illustrator.
Hope this is not a one-shot. Tonokawa is my second favorite writer and I love Hinoue’s designs, so I’ll definitely be checking this out.
Sounds interesting. I liked Chihaya, Sasami, and Kurugaya, but I hope it’s better than Shizuru and Komari routes. Itaru is a huge plus, but it better not be boy in magical world for a premise.

I can’t help feeling that the blonde short haired girl was inspired by Moga Mogami. I do believe Hinoue is a fan of Denpagumi inc, after all

Yes, it has been released, but nothing has been said about sequels. And to clarify, Hinoue didn’t retire; she resigned from VisualArts. She’s still working as an artist.

The end of the book says つづく (to be continued) despite there being an epilogue so… I wouldn’t be surprised if a sequel pops up sooner or later
