Hibiki's Magic Released Digitally by Viz Media!

... Alright, while perhaps not exactly out of nowhere, an interesting bit of news for those interested in Jun Maeda's original manga work who haven't been able to read it as of yet has come up!

I’m really hoping for volume 3 to be released, but from what I’ve seen so far, the “Viz Selects” line of digital rescues hasn’t published any new volumes for any of the series; only what was published by the original licensor.

For example, Kyo Kara MAOH! was being published digitally by Viz 1 per month, but only up until volume 7, the last one released by Tokyopop. This was back in March, and no new volumes have been released since.

I hope I’m wrong and they’re just slow at translating, but things are not looking good for new HIbiki. If anyone has any counter-examples, please, prove my hypotheses wrong.

AWW SHIT IT’S HIBIKI

Pretty much rests in the non-zero realm which is always a big amount to any fan these days. Showing interest is the best way to send a message, that way if there’s profit in it and interest in the manga’s goal then I’d say the odds are decent.

The only issue I’d think of is I have no idea how receptive they are in regards to demand with something like this.
