Guys, Mei appears in Nagisa’s route too. (I think Pepe was actually trying to say that, but got drowned out) You also get minor descriptions of what happens if you call her in other routes. Like I think she ends up freeloading in Misae’s room during one of the routes. You don’t get to see her, but the way the VN makes minor allusions to her is something I appreciate.

I doubt that Sanae-san was dating Sunohara for the sole reason of helping him. I bet she also wanted to do “young people things” again. Happens to married folks.
This impression is conveyed somewhat stronger in the anime.
