This was a really nice podcast. Koumura route was so short that I was afraid the podcasters would run out of things to talk about pretty quickly, but that turned out to be a non-issue. I very much appreciate how much you went into how this route can be viewed and appreciated and what it represents, it opened my eyes a bit as well.
But man, having A New Life Reborn play in the middle, are you trying to kill me!?
I’m very happy with this one, especially since we had so little content to cover. This actually turned out to be one of the best podcasts of this Bookclub, in my opinion.

I can agree that knowing jack shit about him is possibly the point, but I REALLY wanted more about this type of character, so I can’t be satisfied with it. I guess it really is a Hibiki’s Magic route in that way.
I just neglected to say it because I thought it was fairly obvious 
2 is bad and 1 is very bad
I agree that more could have been said about him, but sometimes, things are better in smaller quantities. I think this route is a good example of smaller=better. However, just like you, I expected an entire route surrounding Koumura and even though i am satisfied with what I’ve got, I think it would have been possible to have more.
I still disagree. I believe showing any more than what they did would be detracting from the message of a humble mentor working behind the scenes for his students’ success. You’re too attached to the promise of a route.
I loved this route when I read it and I am glad that there was a lot of positive vibes towards it. I do think there were a lot a lot of ways this could have been better implemented, or at least implemented to great success differently. But I still freaking love Komura. I am such a sucker for people who are quietly doing their best and finally getting the recognition the deserve but didn’t ask for.
After I played this route I kind of didn’t want to get the good end for Nagisa because that would mean not having this scene with Komura.
