CLANNAD Anthology Manga and 10th Anniversary Artbook Available Digitally from Sekai Project

Good news to all CLANNAD Kickstarter backers and fans alike! Sekai Project has recently given some exciting updates with regards to the CLANNAD Kickstarter, and you know what this means: more goodies for us fans~

First up, with Kickstarter update #53, is the release of the digital copy of the CLANNAD 10th Anniversary Artbook! This book is given free to all Kickstarter backers that ordered the physical copy of the game. Fans who ordered should have already received an e-mail via Backerkit with a link to the PDF download of the book. And in case you’re wondering, yes, this is exactly the same as the Hikari no Kiseki artbook released a few years back.

And next, with Kickstarter update #54, is the announcement of a digital release of the anthology manga! Up til now, this manga was only available physically to backers who ordered it with their Kickstarter pledge; leaving the rest of us waiting and wanting. Well worry no more, as Sekai Project has announced that they’ve received permission to sell this anthology manga and the previously mentioned 10th anniversary artbook on Steam! Fans who ordered digital copies should be receiving their Steam keys by Friday, according to the update.

Really glad they released it digitally for those who didn’t buy it during the Kickstarter. I really hope I can pickup the physical copy soon.

I really shouldn’t have spent the money but I couldn’t resist getting the 10th Anniversary artbook via Steam (well, at least it’s more money and appreciation to Key/Visual Arts).

The art, both official and from guests is beautiful and looks super on my iPad, really enjoyed the short stories too (more Kyou and Fuko!). Not so enthusiastic about the comic book stuff - the art is good but I can’t always work out the order to read the boxes!) but it’s only a small part of the book.

I do envy the owners of the hard copy version!
