I’ve just came across a Q&A from Charlotte website, and it seems like Jun Maeda compares the series to the first season of HEROES. I put it on Google Translate, so I’m not sure. But, here’s the plot of the 1st season of the tv show I found on the Internet.
“The first season, known as “Genesis”, begins as a seemingly ordinary group of people gradually becomes aware that they have special abilities. Events illustrate their reactions to these powers, and how the discovery affects their personal and professional lives. At the same time, several ordinary individuals are investigating the origins and extent of these abilities. Mohinder continues his late father’s research into the biological source of the change, while Noah represents a secret organization known only as “The Company”. 自分の中では未知なるジャンルでした。特に影響も受けていません。鳥羽ＰからHEROESというドラマを教えてもらい、シーズン１だけ参考に観ました。面白かったです。
