Your right. It was seemingly an act she put on, which she took off around her friends, and once she learned to trust Nao. That doesnt mean it wasnt there, though.
I just discovered something freaky; When Yusa and Nao are talking about her powers (and her unawareness of her powers), right before the midcard, Yusa bites into a marshmallow, and I swear I can hear the BGM having a voice saying āChew it, chew itā
NO, thank you. Yusa>>>>>>>>>>>all the other girls. I want to see more of her.
First of all, donāt call her empty when this is just her first appearance. Of course, theyāre going more in-depth about her character later.
Second, isnāt this one of the things that make anime girls so magic? You donāt see cute and innocent high school girls often IRL, but they appear in animeā¦Like Yusarin~ Itās a privilege for us otakus! Be grateful~
For the last time, this is an anime, NOT a VN
Uhā¦ Thatās why I said ācorrespondentā.
Key is a VN company, Maeda is a VN writer. Thereās nothing wrong in comparing the two mediumsā¦
So something I remembered this morning that makes me kind of worried about Charlotte, I canāt remember where I heard this from but I think it was an interview with someone important in the anime world they said for 1 cour shows you want episodes 1 and 3 to stand out as 1 hooks views in and by 3 if they arenāt still hooked in theyāll either drop it or continue watching on TV but not buy the Blue-rays. I thought back to all the anime that I started this season and Charlotte is the only one I wouldnāt rank both 1 and 3 above 2 in terms of quality. While Jun Maeda might not be following this it does worry me a bit.
Hmā¦ To be fair, the initial part of Charlotte hasnāt been really interesting. Iād rather see a normal school life with some hints here and there, like theyāve done previously. But Maeda was aware of this, because he told the viewers not to get bored during the first 6 eps, because they were going to be slowā¦
Iām just hoping Charlotte has something much deeper beyond its surface waiting for usā¦
I hope so. An issue is if I wasnāt paying attention to Charlotte pre-release I have a feeling Iād be close to dropping it which isnāt very good. I donāt know how many people are watching this that didnāt hear that quote but it would be interesting to see how many of them make it through.
Format schmormat Let him do his own thing, and not be restrained by patterns that are made to get the most viewers in
I hope he is just doing his thing and didnāt fail at the pattern. Angel Beats! followed it which also worries me.
This is a discussion of episode 3, not the whole series. Yusa was empty.
I never liked magical girls personally~
Heās written for VNs, but he isnāt solely a VN writer. Heās done a lot of non-VN writing, and, of course, heās a musician.
Thatās probably why they put focus on episodes 6+. They are doing a Punchline.
Most people I know are just gonna wait until it ends to see if people liked it. I know a lot of people dropped it after episodes 1 and 2.
Some female fans here dropped after episodes 1 and 2 tooā¦ But I tend to remind them: Wait! (Several times Iāve got to force myself a little bit to watch After Story because of its pace, and now I consider it the best anime for me). Soā¦ wait! Matte kudasai, please be patience! (Iām telling them).
Related: Some of them were very interested in the subliminal or hidden information, and plans to keep an eye on it because of that. As if it were a hint of unexpected complexity (their words) and curiosity.
āAt least, watch until episode 6 arrives, then make a decision.ā I say that to myself I have to confess.
This episode felt, well, odd. All of the characters feel so artificial, as if their personalities were forced to fit the situations. Iāve felt the same during the second episode but perhaps it was to expand the story further. But, this episode totally disoriented me and did nothing much to accomplish anything, except introduce another main character through a very ridiculous situation. It just did not work for me I guess.
Please bring back the old Yu though. The comedy would be more bearable.
Speak for yourself, Mr. Otaku.
I would tell people to stick with it 'til episode 6, but thereās no point. If itās good when it ends, they can watch it. If itās bad, then they didnāt waste 20 minutes of every week. Itās just easier that way.
The only reason Iām watching Charlotte weekly is because if I donāt watch episodes on release, Iāll get spoiled on Twitter within seconds.
In what language? Glorious Nipponese?
