Yuu started forgetting about his former acquaintances around the time he crushed the phone so him going back to Japan and talking to them seems pretty unlikely.
I also felt Nao returning his feelings at the end was unnecessary and too quick (at least for me as a viewer).
The bounty on his head just being forgotten about also struck me as odd. Not to mention he’d have probably encurred the rage of many organizations, big ones even, over the course of his journey, which makes even the Shunsuke-can-protect-him theory waver a bit.
My favorite comedy bit was probably when Skyhigh Saito was talking about his dreams… and then we instantly cut to Yuu’s face going like “what the hell kind of a name is that!?”. Other than that I really dug the first half of Episode 1.

I really like the podcasts you guys make. They reveal so many things that I did not see the first time. Especially good insights on this episode and the series as a whole. Shout out the main podcasters @Aspirety @Bizkitdoh and @Pepe for the good work!
