Ask a Key fan!

Im not really sure what you’re referring to. Where do you see “Traditional”? (Pictures would be nice if possible)

It sounds stupid as fuck, but doesn’t it mean that there’s a group called traditional. It’s written the same way on JP wikipedia

Ooh, that’s interesting, though that’s a strange band name to choose.

The artwork (which is amazing btw) shows the key (ididathing) members of Key/Visual Arts at the far right, including Takahiro Baba. While I managed to figure some of the people in it (sorry for writing on it):

…anyone who has an idea who the green box with a keyhole, and the teddy bear(?) represents in this artwork?

(I found out about Hinoue and Na-Ga from Hinoue’s website, and Orito from somewhere in this forum. Maeda and Baba were pretty obvious here.)

BTW, the way Maeda and Orito are drawn here got me quite curious on what kind of relationship they have.

From what I’ve heard.
Baba’s favorite Key story is Air (ACEN)
Orito’s favorite Key story is Planetarian (ACEN)
YanagiNagi’s favorite Key story is Air

Does anyone know Hinoue’s, Na-Ga’s, Lia’s, and Jun Maeda’s favorite Key story ?

I think Jun Maeda has said his favourite is Little Busters. Or was it CLANNAD? Now I’m not sure… Wouldn’t be surprised if Hinoue’s was Rewrite these days.

Baba’s favorite obviously has to be Harmonia.

It turns out its been done for months and he just wants to keep it for himself.

I’m pretty certain he said Little Busters as well

Komari is the poster girl for Little Busters!
Kotori is the poster girl for Rewrite
Misuzu is the poster girl for AIR
Nagisa is the poster girl for CLANNAD
Nao is the poster girl for Charlotte

Who’s the poster girl for Kanon, and who’s the poster girl for Angel Beats! ?

I’m guessing Ayu is the poster girl.

Kanon doesn’t really have a “main girl”, but its “poster girl” is definitely Ayu, no question.

I disagree with your assertion that Komari is the “poster girl” for Little Busters!, simply because I would propose that, like Angel Beats!, LB! does not have a single “poster girl.”

(Although, according to ZEN, its Rin and Kanade)

I base Poster girl off of how much they merchandise that specific character, and how much fan art people do of that character when representing a specific series. Komari is merchandised more than Rin from what I’ve seen. She also represents LB more from what I’ve seen.

I’d say Rin and Komari are really more a duality for the title of poster girl for Little Busters. This also represented the duality of character designer of Little Busters, which seemed to be something of a unique case when it comes to visual novels. It’d be pretty hard to argue which one is more of a poster girl, and I think they both deserve the title fairly equally, the same way that both Hinoue and Na-Ga share the role of designer for LB equally.

Besides, everybody knows that Kyousuke is the real heroine of the game ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I’ll have to agree. But also, Masato seems as good as any heroine. He even has his own route. Great job Key ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Come on guys, let’s put KEY under some more pressure so that they release Kyousuke’s or Masato’s After
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Oh god, Masato’s After ought to be hilarious.

In Little Busters, during the scene where they get Rin to say alternative words to “Ohayou Gozaimasu” (including the infamous “Oliver Sauce”), one of the options included is 代打バースっ (Daida baasu). Do any of you guys remember what this is translated as in the English patch?

Trying to find recordings of that scene on youtube, but I’m not having much luck.
