Otonashi points out a thing about Sekine that probably hints at where they’re going with her story. Sekine has a habbit of switching speech patterns a lot. Otonashi questions how many personae she’s supposed to have, so it feels like they’re aiming for a story about her always putting up a charade and never showing her true feelings.
