Angel Beats! on Japanese textbook

Angel Beats! was called as “Life Hymn” on the Japanese’s school world history textbook.

Paragraphs about the death of the world stage: “Divine Comedy” of Dante Alighieri. But it is after all a classical works, and the “life after dead” theme of the work be too very rare. The recent anime Angel Beats! is a strong first half of the comedy, the final hymn to life the theme of serious work.

This is pretty special. Although Japanese school doesn’t share only one textbooks.

That is cool! I often wondered if Key stories could ever be recognized from an educational standpoint, I guess this proves they can

Wow, Angel Beats! is up there with Dante? That’s impressive. I guess it is a rare theme though~

I’d say this probably takes coolest thing I’ve seen all day by a landslide. Possibly all week.
Key works are without a doubt strong thematically (I think that’s the best way to say it), so I’m happy to see any of them being appreciated as such in any way. You know, other than by us. xP

Indeed, CLANNAD has been recognized more out of range anime-manga  Some literary critics in Japan pay attention to it and had a opinion that CLANNAD par with mainstream literary fiction. This quite long ago (2007, if I remember correctly), and also so much attention

I’d never heard that before! That’s amazing! Clannad really does deserve all the praise it gets. Sometimes it bums me that Jun Maeda’s stories are trapped in the otaku sphere, because I feel like people of all kinds could appreciate Clannad. I got my mum to watch Clannad and she loved it!

Lucky. I wish I could get my Mom to watch Clannad. She would probably love it. But unfortunately Anime is not really her cup of tea. Oh well…
