Nipponbashi is slowly becoming Key road. Nice to see how many deals they have going. The advertising is strong~

That’s amazing! Wish I was in Japan!

For starters, I remember the prices in that vending machine, and those are super cheap compared to today’s standards x.x

Secondly, maid cafes are overpriced x.x

Well, VA headquarters IS in Osaka, so it’s natural they focus their efforts on there. I have been in Nipponbashi before but it didn’t feel like Key road… yet XD

As someone who lives in Australia, the prices seem about right to me XP

Didn’t realize that Australian prices are high xD a regular Niku Udon would cost you like 600 yen anywhere else

You’re pretty much guaranteed to pay $10 for a meal in melbourne.

I was joking, and being a bit angry. Even at stores here in Montreal, most tofu plates come out to a maximum of 5$ (so around 490yen)
As you said i guess maid cafes are just seriously over priced.

Maid cafes are never overpriced when they’re Angel Beats themed…

At 950 JPY (for the most expensive items) it’d be about $7.85~ USD, or $10.28~ AUD going by current Foreign Exchange market data. (If anybody was interested…)

Or, 9.93$ CAD. still can find anything on the menu in China town at half the price. Not saying that I would not pay for it if I had the chance.

I was in Tokyo all day today I should have checked it out!

It is in Osaka though >_<

gao… I really should read the post first. I thought I’d read something previously about a maid cafe in Tokyo doing this.
