A new title is in development by Key!

I think they’re looking for the 90’s/early 2000’s aesthetic from Key. Or the kind of atmosphere that Kanon and Clannad had, with the way the author imagined the the story. I think stuff like that is hard to articulate. XD

But I dunno, I’m personally looking for something quite different from the usual Key while still being Key-like (as in moar feels) at the same time.

I would take more of her music any day. She’s supposed to be contributing to Harmonia too, so I wouldnt be surprised if she was a part of this new project.

Stop for a second and realize how ridiculous that sounds. They’re all Key games, dammit! How can you say that Angel Beats and Rewrite arent as Key-ish when whatever vague notion by which you happen to be defining “Key-ish” hasnt existed for 9 years! By your definition, Key has been less “Key-ish” for longer than they have been “Key-ish”.

All money that new work will be announced this week on Comiket!

Probably going to be amazing is what, though I do wonder how far ahead do we have to look till its release date… Ah well something to look forward to

Awesome! Though, I imagine this isn’t gonna come for a while, considering Key’s reputation with release dates…

That’s not just Key. Many other companies in VN industry has similar problems. Since creating VN is nothing easy and many plans can change from day to day. Thus many delays are nothing unusual. I know that. Since I also work on my own project. :stuck_out_tongue:
Anyway such big event like Comiket is really ideal place to announce something new. So I believe that Key won’t want miss a chance and announce something here.

I somehow doubt it. Do Key really have a history of announcing titles at Comiket? It’s more of a doujin event.

Just letting you guys know, Key doesn’t even have a booth this coming comiket. So, while it might have been possible for them to announce things like they did in previous comikets (such as revealing Heartily Song in Comiket Special 6, or announcing Harmonia in C87), the fact that they have no representation in C90 makes it all the more unlikely.

I can’t express how excited I am for a new KEY Visual Novel!! It will be my first BIG, “multiI-route” KEY work I experience getting announced, and I’m scared for my reaction for when it gets revealed because I might blow up with too much excitement and hype!! X’D :joy:

I personally loved Chihaya’s route, it was my favorite in Rewrite, I love a cute story with a cute ending. Shizuru’s not so much, it felt awkwardly paced.

Regardless, this is really good news, I hope for a cute big VN with lots of cuteness <3

Seems Key/VA has something planned for comiket 91

Hopefully we get some more information.

But this news is quite old and quite a lot has happened, mainly Hinoue Itaru retiring from Key. And I always assumed the new project would be her project…I really don’t know anymore what to think about this new project.

Maybe Hinoue already finished her designs for the character sprites and CGs. It’s kind of a stretch, but I wouldn’t rule it out. Or perhaps it’s just Na-Ga doing the designs this time around.

We were discussing this long before the blog post was made =w=

Thing is, most of the time we see news instantly on Twitter. It just takes time to get all the facts straight for an article.

Just saw the news on twitter and that was the first thing I saw on my Timeline Lol. Pretty excited actually about this (well I would like to know further into the staff working on this but we’ll have to wait and see on that)

and I know this might go a bit off track, but is it just me or is @Aspirety using one of my usual emojis? well it’s not mine of course but I use them every time on twitter =w= Not saying anything bad but I just noticed this now xP
