I’ve been exploring Key’s works since the last days of May 2018(most likely 26-27th). The first one I saw was Angel Beats! anime, which in fact was the very first anime I’ve ever watched. I didn’t really enjoy about 1/3 of episodes and I was rather dissapointed in ending. However I couldn’t deny that I truly liked the setting and main ideas behind the series. Thus I became interested in the franshise and decided to give it a second chance once I heard about Angel Beats! -1st beat-.
Since then I’ve been a Key fan and probably will be for quite a while if not forever. Shortly after finishing AB vn I found Planetarian and read it during one night. These two novels were my absolute favorites. I have never seen anything capable of matching them and taking their places in my top of VNs… or so I’ve been thinking until recently I found out that I managed to skip one single line during reading the ending of planetarian and thus completely misinterpret it. After realizing what happend I had no choice but to remove it from my list of favorites.
I’ve already read a majority of Key’s VNs and tried watching adaptations for them… either I’m a VN person or Key doen’t know how to make a good(8+/10) anime.
