Translation Request Board

I think it’s a bit odd that they’re not considering Tomoyo After.

HYYYYYPE

prolly fake but HYPE

Not really fake but more like “not happening anytime soon”
Would totally love for a film of planetarian though. Especially that special 15millionth customer show~ <3

Rewrite would be… Well I can only think of one way to animate it, and I don’t think it can work any other way. basically they will have to do it like Amagami; totally non-linear episodes except per-arc

No Tomoyo After anime for all eternity <'3

TA (along with planetarian) would probably be the easiest to adapt too. Not that it matters. Already read the VN, so no need for an anime too.

I want to ask. Do we have members who are fully capable of translating Japanese to English?

On Kazamatsuri promotion board I suggested to provide translation so people would likely to come to us when they’re looking for things. Should we create, maybe, something similar to subbing group?
One thing that haven’t got translated after all these years is planetarian Drama CDs. Snow Globe and Hoshi no Hito already got translated but not the second one. I have no idea what kind of story is it, but I just want to understand it.

Funny you should mention that. From the beginning of Kazamatsuri.org’s creation, I’ve had this idea of using it as a hub for translators to show their work and offer their services.

Buuut, nobody used it, so that section of the forum was deleted. All we have now is the translation request board, which hardly anybody uses anyway ^^;;

Short answer: I’d LOVE to, but we just don’t have enough people interested in doing translations for us. SOMEDAY I WILL MASTER THE LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATE ALL THE THINGS MYSELF.

Hmm, I guess finding people is just not that easy :frowning:
Good luck learning. I’ll be waiting for your translation work

Yeah its kinda weird because I know we have people like AngelofDeath and I think Malignant Serif (not gonna call em out) who can read Japanese pretty well, but never offer to do any translation stuff for us. Oh well, I’m not gonna bug them about it; if they dont want to they dont have to.

Anyways, I’ve been working really hard for a while on studying it, so I could possibly be translation ready within the year (not gonna make any promises though ;P)

Yeaaaah nobody has really stepped up and volunteered to help us translate xP I think what we should do is actively seek out these people. I know a few who seem to be fully capable but they don’t volunteer… Most likely because we don’t really ask?

I guess it would be useful if we could get someone to regularly help out with it

Haha, that’s a new one. Gave me a pretty good laugh at least.

There are quite a few reasons I don’t do translating work, the main ones being

  1. I’m very often busy with other things and rarely have the time to sit down and do a long/formal translation.
  2. No matter how much time you spend or how well you translate, there always seems to be a small but vocal group of people who proclaim your translation is terrible, regardless of whether they actually know the language or not.
  3. I don’t like my work being quoted. This doesn’t just go for translating either, if I help someone with a math problem and they go tell others that I helped them, You can bet I won’t be helping them with their homework for a while. Something about it just irks me.

Ooops haha sorry about that…

Yeah, like I said, theres no reason for you to do it if your against it. And I completely understand and respect your reasons for not wanting to.

Is there any chance someone knows what these items that come with the AB BD Box are, exactly?

Here’s the video that may hold more information… https://www.facebook.com/kazamatsuriorg/videos/vb.612635788820909/878290258922126/?type=2&theater

From left to right, the first is a box cover for the BDs (top left). The second is a digipak (top right picture). The third is a 228 page book which contains special stuff like interviews, “making of” info, and something else I can’t read (bottom pictures).

Whoa! That sweet poster-looking thing is a digipack? Thats awesome!

Looks like there is some kind of artbooks and manga there? Thanks so much for your help Kaze!

Yooooooooooo thank you!

Ohhhhh it’s a digipak. No wonder the box is so small! Actually a pretty practical idea, heh

EDIT: Request resolved.

Looking through Chinese sites I found a short interview with Baba-shachou at the recent Creative Paradise.

At the end (1:36) there’s a question about VisualArt’s future.

If I understood this correctly, Baba is saying that until now they’ve produced a lot of games and anime series, but in the future they want to focus more on the anime production. They’re also trying to form a group that can produce 10 anime titles annually.

The last part sounds quite unbelievable, so if anyone who knows Japanese better than me could check this, it would be great.

Oh wow, this is kind of a cool board to have.
I won’t put too much hope on it, as putting the work in to translate for one guy requires a lot of heart, not to mention there are lots of other requests before me.
I’ll be a little stereotypical with my request, with this being a key fan oriented forum, and request for an Angel Beats translation.

Although, I get the feeling that people would probably avoid translating it in the hopes that Key will eventually want to localize it themselves, so I’ll add a second request.
I’d say I’d like a translation for Robotic;Notes since Nitroplus isn’t that eager on translations and the VN hasn’t really been revisited unlike Steins;Gate or Chaos;Child which have both received sequels and spinoffs.

Edit:Oops, I just remembered Robotic;Notes DaSH, a sequel. will be coming out someday, which increases the chance of a Robotic;Notes translation

So for the real VN I want translated, I’d like for Sakura no Uta -Sakura no Mori no Ue o Mau or Sakuuta to be translated.
I’m pretty active on VNDB, under the same username, and I saw this has a REALLY high score of 9.20 by the users and 8.76 via Beyesian ranking.
I really want to know what makes this VN so good, so I’d like for it to get translated so I can experience it for myself.

Edit again in response to Helios
That’s kinda disappointing. I doubt I’ll use this thread since I don’t come across japanese tweet’s/interviews that much, but thanks for telling me anyways.
