After learning Knuckles the Echidna’s Japanese voice actor is the same as Masato’s, I had to do this.
So for those who don’t know, on the podcast, they brought up the part about Kengo visiting the graveyard, and the podcasters wanted people to discuss why he was there.
To begin with: (Refrain spoilers)
If you play the route before you unlock the scenes with Koshiki, you can assume that the grave he’s visiting is hers - implying that in the original playthrough, Koshiki successfully committed suicide and Kengo didn’t/couldn’t save her. However, this explanation doesn’t cover all the bases - what about if he does save her? So, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that after he goes crazy, the grave he visits looks something like this:
